Booked into this Hotel for a few days in Rome. Being a solo traveler they put me in what can only be described as the smallest matchbox of a room I have ever seen. The bathroom was tiny and I could not fit in the shower. The linen was very old and irritating to the skin. Breakfast was dismal and...

My wife and I stayed at this Hotel for 4 nights back in November 2016 as part of a city break with Jet2 Holidays to Rome. Reading some of the reviews beforehand I was a little apprehensive about what to expect but went in with an open mind. First of all the location of the Hotel is great with just...

We stayed at The Piemonte hotel for 4 nights in February. It is very near the main train station and close to most of the sights in Rome. As a base for tourists it is ideally placed whether you choose to use the Metro trains or walk around the city. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the price is...

spent 4 nights here. hotel situated just 2/3 mins away from termini and a reasonable 20/30 walking distance from main tourist attractions or can be accessed by metro. Staff were lovely and attentive, no complaints. Room was clean and well equipped. Bathroom clean and tidy. plenty of restaurants nearby.

Location very good. Short walk from Termini. Lots of restaurants nearby .Cleanliness excellent. Efficient lift. High ceilinged rooms. Narrow but comfortable single beds. Sparkling bathroom, fluffy towels but bathroom temperature too hot. Some traffic noise but tolerable. Copious continental breakfast. To be thoroughly recommended for a stay in the capital.

Can't complain really, for the price it was spot on. Decent location, lots of good places to eat nearby, Termini 2 minutes walk. Rooms can be a bit noisy, but that didn't really bother me. Breakfast was OK too.

Location is a 2 min walk from the Termini station, so it's an ideal location for transport to and from the airports. The restaurants in the area around the hotel are much better value for money than the places around the main tourist areas (colosseum, Vatican etc.) Reception staff were always pleasant and helpful. They let us leave our luggage...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
