The hustle and bustle of Rome can be left behind for a peaceful night's sleep in this quaint little hotel accessed through a pretty little courtyard. Just a 20 minute walk from Roma Centrale (it is also close to the tram stop if you don't fancy the walk) the hotel is opposite the viaduct park. We found it very convenient... More

A small hotel , maybe 30 rooms, elegant courtyard and room - antique furniture, marble floors etc Friendly, informative and helpful staff. Usefully close to local tram terminus, a little noisy at night from some traffic. A special thanks to Andrea who gave us easy directions to the start of the Appian Way as opposed to Google Maps which didn't.... More

Stayed a week and it was a very pleasant stay. It is a beautiful small hotel with a nice courtyard at the entrance, perfect to unwind with a glass of wine at night. Our room was small with a nice view, good a/c and very clean and quiet. Location is ok, good access to tram and metro. Breakfast was included... More

Maybe four stars is a bit to much. But its on the upper side of 3 stars for sure. We had an early flight so arrived at the hotel at 11 O'clock, when we where checking in the staff was very friendly and they even had the room availible already so that was very nice. It is a big plus... More

Dear guest , thanks for the heading of your review, we all are just delighted. I fully agree and share your good feeling when traveling, just leave your room while the hotel staff takes care and air it, and waits for you to come back for the key and in case welcoming you in the bar. As far as the... More

>Not a reflection on Rome itself...enjoyed my time in the city Hotel Overall: Below water level... LOW LOW LOW aka REALLY BAD Inside info: Hot water?? whats that?? Rooms: Our room was located high up, with access only by stairs and a really old roman lift that did not look healthy at all. The room itself was really dated, and... More

We have just come back from a week staying in this lovely hotel, would highly recommend it, staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was also very nice, with plenty of choice. You could also walk to all the major attractions from here.

The staff was very nice and helpful and the room nice. Breakfast was very good with fried egg and bacon, yogurt, ham, cheese, mozzarella, tomatoes and fresh fruits every morning. The coffee was terrible but they also have tee. Outside the reception there is a extremely nice place to sit for a coffee or a beer or a glad of... More

This is a beautiful hotel located across from the aqueducts. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard that you enter reception via and is a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine. The room my husband and I had was tastefully decorated with large ceiling, plenty of storage space and a jacuzzi tub (the doors to the bathroom were beautiful... More

We asked the reception to fix it and they answered that we are wrong and the there are hot water. Except that this is a nice below average European hotel. We were here for 3 nights. The area is good. It is close to the subway and the tlTram.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
