My boyfriend and I stayed for a week in Rome and really enjoyed our time there. The Caravel hotel was fine, the bus stop is very close and tickets are sold at the reception; we did find it a bit hard to get a bus back from the city centre later in the evenings (past 10:30). The hotel was clean... More

We stayed here for 3 days as part of an Archers Tour,The hotel is very basic at best. The rooms were quite small and needed updating, especially the bathrooms. We were kept awake by the plumbing noises from other rooms. The beds were quite comfortable and the included breakfast was adequate. The worst thing about the Hotel for us was the location. It was... More

The Hotel Caravel was a brilliant hotel. Me and my boyfriend stayed there for 7 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean with a very decent, standard room. There's a mini fridge in the room where we were able to leave food bought at the supermarket in the town. The bathroom was also clean and... More

The hotel is clean and neat with cheap internet available. Rooms are spacious and the complimentary breakfast is nice. But the hotel a pretty faraway from the main attractions so I would only recommend this hotel if you have your own transport or if you really know how to use Rome's rather complicated public transport system --- you need to... Me and My GF stayed in this hotel in August 2008. We found it to be a pleasant Experience. The staff were polite and helpful, also spoke good English Breakfast was always nice and lots of choice, eg cereals, yogurts, fruit, bread, cheeses, hams, croisants etc The rooms were fairly standard but very clean, they came with a safe, and... Stayed for 3 nights at the Caravel, was very clean and tidy, rooms cleaned and beds made/fresh towels on a daily basis. Staff friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was nice. Hairdryers in rooms were rubbish though! Bus stop down the road taking you to all major attractions, although there wasnt much to do in the local area everything closed quite... More

We stayed at the Caravel for 3 nights as part of a Cosmos tour. As a budget hotel it was fine. The rooms were large and clean. It was difficult to use the shower in the bath as there was nothing on the wall to attach it to. Breakfasts were good. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English.... More

This hotel is slightly out of the city but it is cheaper than most in the city. The room and the bathroom we got (214) were large and met our needs, and included a minibar fridge in the room which we could also keep our own drinks and food in. The room was cleaned each day and was always looking... More

This is a wonderful hotel. So good, its the second time i`ve stayed here. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to stay in Rome and not pay through the nose for hotels. The bedrooms are large, with individual air-con, mini-bar, wardrobe, writing table, chest of draws and large screen TV. The bathrooms are enormous. Bigger than several hotel bedrooms i`ve... More

We booked this hotel last November for a stay of 7 nights from 7th May through alpharooms.com. On arrival we were told that we could not stay and were directed to Hotel Bled. Although the same grade it was very shabby and the room allocated had no waste plug for the washbasin and no hot water. We eventually managed to... More
