We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights as part of a 4 part holiday for our anniversary. When we arrived we discovered there had been a mix up with our booking but after a couple of phone calls it was sorted and we were actually upgraded. The hotel is easy to walk to from the train station and is... More

Very friendly staff made this an enjoyable stay for 3 nights. The old style elevator won our hearts. breakfast was substantial and thoroughly delicious served in a clean and friendly setting. Not a large hotel but central to most tourist attractions with good transport nearby. Overall I would stay there again.

I think I say pretty much the same thing each time I stay here - this trip I had 6 nights. I love the location - it's essentially a 10-15 minute walk to wherever you need to go in every direction - Termini, top of the Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese. Metro and bus connections are very close by. The rooms... More

The hotel is located not too far from the Termini train station, is just a walk away from the metro Repubblica, and is just opposite the Banca d'Italia. It's also 10 minutes away from Villa Borghese, a big park which also includes the Rome Zoo. The room was clean and quiet as it was facing the building courtyard. The bathroom... More

This hotel was perfect for a 5 day trip to Rome with my family. It was close to most attractions, the breakfast was filling, the staff were friendly and the maid service was exceptional! The hotel was very quiet and ran efficiently. I personally had no problems and would recommend it to anyone! Also the best ice cream in Rome... More

It's our 3rd time in this hotel and will be coming back. Everything of interest is within walking distance including the Termini station and all tourist attractions, shops and downtown restaurants. It's great in the summertime because it's in an old stone building so it's naturally cool and the air-conditioning works perfectly. Definitely recommended if you're planning a summertime visit.... We stayed 6 nights and had a lovely well appointed room. The staff was excellent friendly and attentive. Great central location with lots of good restaurants within waking distance. The breakfast was very good with a large selection including eggs, ham and a nice coffee machine that made cappuccinos and lattes. Room was very clean! Loved it and would book... More

This is an old hotel in good location near the train station. I was given a quiet room on inside of building. Small as most are in Rome but adequate for me. The room was clean and bedding was comfortable. The employees were all kind and helpful. The price fluctuated due to occupancy. The breakfast would be better if they... More

Hotel was good. Good location, walking distance from Termini but also from the sights. Used bus only once when went to Vatican. Buses leave just outside the hotel. Rooms are not that big - tried a few. But they are clean and neutral decoration. View from some of the rooms is poor - wall of the next building, especially at... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
