Me and my wife bought a packaged trip to Rome. We didn't expect much of a three star hotel, but the room was large with a very nice bathroom- so better than expected. The local area south of the hotel is a little rough but the north side is more normal.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days whilst visiting Rome. Was very central to most places. We chose bed & breakfast, which was really nice, plenty of choice, was not rushed breakfast was from 7.30 to 10am. Hotel was very clean, maid service everyday, the only downfall was no tea or coffee making service in the room only a... More

We went downstairs after viewing our room to advise of a vile odour which was so bad it almost made us vomit only to be greeted by the concierge with a can of air freshener. We promptly went elsewhere as it was only room available he said but we're still charged 50 euro. Stay clear of this place...

This is a no frills hotel but for the overnight stay was just great. The hotel appears to be well maintained and everything was pretty spotless and organized. I used their transfer service from the airport and although it is a little pricey (55 Euro), it's well worth it if you are arriving past 11:pm as the only thing you... More

I am not one to write reviews, but my experience and treatment at this establishment was so dreadful that I felt the need to warn fellow travelers. This hotel could be appealing to many travelers based on its central location near Termini; however, my experience with the owner and staff was actually dehumanizing. I love to travel and get to... Ideally placed for the station but not in the best tourist areas. Staff in the hotel were fine and the rooms, breakfast were average. Buffet, cereal, bread, croissaints and jams. 20 minute walk to Colleseum or Trevi fountain. Not the greatest area, especially at night but an ok, cheap, no frills break and we only slept in the hotel so... More

I stayed 3 terrible days @ this hotel, although the hotel is closed to termini station but the area is very dangerous to live with a family. Wifi is not a free, no air-condition, no minibar and you have to pay 5 € as a deposit for a locker. Staff are not friendly especially a girl in the restaurant, she... More

Arrived at hotel on 4/16/2016. Definitely not a 3 Star hotel, maybe a 1/12 at the most, but being frequent Travelers that was no problem since just a place to sleep. So checked in and went to the room. I tested tv and although ancient and small analog, worked. Checked the Air Condition and sounded but did not work. Went... More

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel and it was terrific. It’s a boutique hotel like many others close to Termini Roma and certainly different from the big North American chains. I prepaid directly on the hotel website for the best deal which included breakfast and wifi. The only additional charge was the 4 euros per person per day to... More

The Hotel was nice and room was somehow clean, but the worst thing is that the staff, they are not friendly at all and really we hated the hotel because of them and gave such a rank based on that but it worth mentioning that the hotel is nearby Termini Station which is considered as a central station in Rome

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
