The rooms are very nice and clean. Location is great central in Testaccio and close to public transportation. The host is also very nice and helpful. She has a grand knowledge of the city and is good at helping to plan good tours. There is several nice restaurants and pizzerias in the area.

My son and me enjoyed the stay very much! Because the Place is: clean, comfortable, close to the center, close to Trastevere (lovely to go out also at night), untouristic and true roman quarter (Testaccio). Elisa, the B&B owner, is a very nice lady with a lot of heart. So is her B&B. We loved how we didn't have to...

An absolute wonderful place to stay in Rome! Very convenient to public transport, but also located closely enough to most major sites that we chose to walk and explore. Room was impeccable, with a great view onto the tree lined street below, adding to the ambiance. Wide assortment of breakfast items, including meats and cheese. However, the Hostess Elisa was...

Everything in this 3 bedroom B&B is new, well designed and very comfortable. The bathrooms are spotless with a powerful shower, and there is a kitchen area that is well equipped in the unlikely event you feel like self catering while you are here! Elisa, the host, is extremely helpful and friendly, and willing to provide lots of suggestions and...

The apartment is modern, very well-kept and clean. The host makes the place incredible however. Ellisa is friendly, knowledgeable and hard-working. It is on the fourth floor (fifth for you Yankees) and there is no lift, but the climb helps you burn some of the calories you will take in during your Roman holiday! We would definitely stay here again.

Staying in Testaccio

Neighborhood Profile
Testaccio
Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio, an ancient Roman port and former working class neighborhood where the bass is set to high almost every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche (nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club hit, the area is full of locally owned small businesses and has one of the city's larger produce markets.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our B&B is located in the heart of Testaccio, the characteristic area of Rome famous for its restaurants and nightlife, but above all of inhabitants, which has maintened the original popular and genuine 'Romanesco' spirit. During the day Testaccio is similar to a country town: market stalls, children playing in the square, dinner in local restaurants. ... more   less
