We had the superior room for three nights. The room was clean and spacious (very high ceiling!). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included for us so we ate at the restaurant every morning. The selection is not huge but quite enough. It would get a bit boring on longer visits, though. Food quality was good and...

I stayed here 3 nights. From the moment I entered the reception, I was greeted promptly, given map of the city and the gentleman on the reception marked all the must see areas and answered all my questions. Then I was shown to my room. The hotel is a fee minutes from Termini train station. From outside you do not...

My husband and I just stayed here on a quick trip to Rome. Only a ten minute walk from the train station. And not a far walk to most of the sights. We stayed for three nights. The room and bathroom were very clean and neat. The room was spacious, comfortable for 2 people. We had a lovely view overlooking...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days. At check-out time, there was a slight misunderstanding between the hotel and us. Although it dissolved in a minute thanks to our Italian speaking family, we were sad to see the crude manners they handled it and the humiliation easily blew away the positive impressions on the hotel in us. It nearly...

This hotel is beautifully appointed, a converted seminary run by the Australian Arch Dioceses. The rooms are huge by European standards, the ceilings high with 20 feet windows. The central courtyard is picturesque and gives the whole place a very open feeling. The rooms are elegant, modern and super clean. The bathrooms have no tubs but a beautiful and capacious shower...

My husband and I visited Rome for the first time and wanted a hotel that was close to public transport, safe, clean and had helpful staff. This hotel matched all of our needs! Walking distance from Roma termini, republica subway (took the subway to get to the Vatican and only cost both of us 3€!) and even Trevi fountain. Great...

The room has a giant toilet giant sized hand basin crazy high ceilings, curtains and closets. The shower I noticed has a seat for the handicapped so maybe the sizes reflect that and are being kind. The beds for a couple are basically two king sized singles together which again is giant. As per the name it seems it is...

Very good hotel. The room has a very high ceiling to make it spacious. Breakfast is decent and with good variety. Very good location, only 12 mins walk from the Rome train and bus station. Reasonably priced.

I stayed two nights after flying 24 hours across the planet from NZ. I would highly recommend it, especially if you arrive jetlagged, sleep deprived and disorientated like I did. It is quiet and peaceful with a central green space courtyard and a chapel. The breakfasts are very good. The dinners even better. And the resident Priest greets and chats...

If you want something spotless then this is the one. Short walk to transport and main train station this has a real Aussie feel about it as well. Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
