You do not need a cab from the train terminal Hotel Rimini is within eyz shot and walking distance from the train terminal around 100 meters maximum. Our room 412 was spacious, two single beds and a queen sized bed, the bathroom was also spacious with a separate bath and shower, the room was presented in a very clean state.... More

Would recommend this hotel to friends and family and would stay here again. The amenities are excellent, I was pleasantly surprised. Air con, fridge in room, hairdryer, TV. On this point, the amenities vary from room to room. My mum had the room next door to mine. Her en suite was tiny, but had a proper hairdryer. My en suite... More

The hotel is an older hotel with smallish rooms however we found our room and bathroom to be very clean and adequate for our one night stay. Breakfast was fine for a quick bite before we made our way over to Termini for an early train. They are several restaurants near by which were great for lunch or dinner options... More

While the Rimini is not a resort hotel it is a welcome haven at the end of a hot and hectic day in Rome. The concierge (front desk person) was very helpful, efficient and welcoming. The location is very convenient and the room was air-conditioned and comfortable. No complaints from us.

This place is so close to the station. Plenty of eating places around. Very clean , breakfast are fine and all you need. The staff are friendly and helpful , the room is good. There are small issues but it's a 3 star hotel so there will be a few. It is worth using if you want a bed shower... More

I had one night in Rome after flying in from Athens, before flying home. I wanted something that was easy access to Termini Roma, since I had planned to take the first train to the airport in the morning, at 5:30am. This was the right hotel. When we flew in from Athens at 11am, we took a bus to Termini... More

Rimini was a perfect spot to stay, close to the train station and walking distance to many of Romes attractions. Our room was on the 6th floor, very quiet, perfect air con and facilities. We found all staff to be polite and helpfull. We would return here again if we visited Rome again.

we only stayed here for a few days before we went on a Trafalgar tour but we didn't regret it, the hotel was a little basic but it had everything we wanted, it was clean and the best thing is it is central to everything and just around the corner from the railway station so we got the train to... Very close to termini station and local buses. Hotel is very old, rooms very tiny, dark and dull. Staff provided good service to compensate the state of the hotel. Lift ancient and tiny. Bread for breakfast stale.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
