The location is excellent being about 2 minutes walk to bus & train stations. However hotel & its signage is hard to see in a narrow road lined on both sides with motor bikes (our taxi driver missed the hotel on his first attempt to find it). The room is extremely small with little room to put your luggage &... More

We stayed 1 night, as this hotel is a two minute walk to Termini Station. The room was clean quite large, and the bathroom was good. The decor is a but dark and dull. The breakfast was included in the rate, and was quite good, with a fair amount of variety. The area looks a bit seedy, but in a... More

The rooms that are presented on this site do not resemble the actual room we got. First of all, lobby is old looking and disorganized. They put us in the wrong room. There are two hotels together so if you turn left in the hallway you are in a different hotel with less attractive rooms. They finally got us in... More

We stayed at the Rimini two nights - October 7th and 8th prior to a cruise. If you are expecting a Holiday Inn or Cookie cutter room this is not the hotel. The hotel Rimini is a very European style hotel. the rooms are small but functional with windows that open out to the street. The hotel is about 3/4... More

Our room was tiny, could barely fit two suitcases in. Lift was tiny, max three people but even that was a squeeze. Location is ok, 20 min walk to attractions. Subway is very handy. The hotel was really really noisy at night, the walls were paper thin so even the TV could be heard next door and everything could be... More

This is a very old hotel and it is a bit hit and miss what kind of a room is allocated. The hotel is dark but clean, the beds are comfortable, the breakfasts are great, the location so close to Termini Station is fantastic. We have stayed there more than once and very happy with it. Though so close to... More

We stayed here because we arrived late into Rome and were taking the train out the next morning. The location is right next to the train but I recommend printing out directions (we walked quite a bit around before actually finding it). The room we were in was next to the breakfast room (lovely), so it was noisy early and... More

We have been staying at the Rimini for 20 years now. This year we had four short stays. As a small family run hotel it is perfect if you don't want to feel like you are still in your home country. Location is ideal, it is always clean and the breakfasts are something we look forward to.

I have spent 5 nights at this hotel. In all this location is great and if your only looking for a over night stop close to the trains this is for you. Hotel Rimini needs a update. The rooms are small they have a desk that you cannot use as the bed is to big. The beds are uncomfortable. Breakfast... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
