We had a room overlooking the main road opposite the American embassy. This was no problem as the road was pretty quiet and good double glazing ensured no unnecessary noise. The room was spacious and comfortable and we were welcomed with a chilled bottle of prosecco and a huge plate of fruit which was a lovely touch. The staff were... More

Nice location nearby the Borghese Villa (don't miss the sunset from Pincio). Everything accessible by feet or subway. Very clean and fancy hotel. Great breakfast in the private lobby outside although not included. Parking in the street for 8€/day is possible. Conclusion: perfect!

I booked this hotel in Rome after doing loads of research into where to stay and what to do. This was for my honeymoon so had to be right. I have to say my choice was excellent and my wife loved it. A beautiful clean classy hotel awaited us. Right from the start the staff were friendly and helpful. The... More

Hotel was in a good location. Rooms were excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate here in the evening a couple of times and that too was very good. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect hotel in every way... Amazing staff and brilliant gym. Excellent location for Roma attractions but far enough away to be lovely and quite. Surprised it didn't have a kettle in the room though... You know us English like to have a cup of tea in the morning! (I suspect reception would get one for you if you asked -... More

By Shannon Keates Aug 19th 2016 I have just returned from staying at this hotel. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and is great value for money. The location is good and is also near to the metro and bus stops. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Nice hotel in a good location, within walking distance of many of Rome's attractions. Decent sized rooms with comfortable beds, bathroom a good size and overall no complaints, wifi wasn't the best but hardly the end of the world. Also the pool/gym area is of a good standard. Would recommend.

Elegant boutique hotel, clean nice spacious rooms, good size bathrooms, very quiet. Across from US Embassy, walking distance to great restaurants. Breakfast boufet was delicious. Pool was very nice, a little small but great for relaxing at the end of the day. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We even got a bottle of champagne in our room as a... More

We found the rooms very comfortable and the staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel is great value for money. The location is very good - only a 10 minute walk to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. There is a taxi rank outside the hotel which is very convenient for those who don't want to walk. Overall... More

We really enjoyed this hotel during our trip to Rome. We liked that it was away from the touristy sections of the town. We would walk from the hotel and then take a taxi back if we were too tired! There is a taxi stand 1 block away. The area near the hotel feels quiet yet safe when walking at... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
