The Flaminio area has been making a name for itself as a hub for contemporary architecture and art. Over the past decade, Flamino’s grassy knolls have seen the rise of cultural centers - amazing feats of architecture like the beautiful Ponte della Musica, the wavy contemporary art MAXXI Museum, and the futuristic Parco della Musica, a music complex where international names perform. Flaminio also has traces of the 1960 Olympic Games with Palazzetto dello Sport and Villagio Olimpico, the athlete’s Olympic village turned residential housing. If culture means a ball and a foot, keep your eye on the prize: Rome’s famed Stadio Olimpico soccer stadium is just a short walk across a bridge.

This hotel is located a bit far from the main attractions in Rome, however regular public transportation is available nearby. The front desk service was polite and extremely helpful with all our local travel requests. Our airport drop had cancelled on us at the last minute and the gentleman at the front desk helped us with it immediately. The rooms were spacious, neatly furnished with all necessary amenities. Breakfast spread was also adequate. Overall, a comfortable stay.

Nice location, short tram ride to start of the main sights and the metro. Hotel was very clean, good continental breakfast although runs out of things if you go towards the end of service. Room was small but had good air con and a nice bathroom. Only issue we had was noise as we were adjacent to the breakfast room and seating area so could hear plates clattering and people talking from 7 onwards and also late in the evening. Ideally placed to explore Rome and would be happy to go back. Would benefit from an outdoor seating area for somewhere to relax when in the hotel

This hotel was clean and friendly staff. The problem was you had to get a taxi to go we’re everything was and into the city centre. The bar at the hotel wasn’t very well stocked and kept running out of things like ice coke and tonic. The room we had had a problem with it’s air conditioning it wasn’t working properly so the room was warm what you don’t need when weather in 90s. Beds were really hard to and the room smelt damp and musty. Other than this it was ok.

The location was only a mile from piazza del popolo, which has tonnes of shops and is basically the start of city centre. The staff were super helpful and informative, going the extra mile to help us out. We asked for a ground floor room, and it was great. The area is stunning and near the borghese gardens, and the taxi services are all super affordable. There are nearly ten different restaurants around the corner.
