Good value 3* hotel centrally located just 10 minute walk from Rome Termini. All major tourist attractions within a 20 minute walk. Quiet location one street back from Via Nationale with plenty of good value traditional restaurants. Staff helpful and polite, rooms very clean and good size for city centre hotel. Buffet breakfast fairly basic, doesn't change but OK...

Stayed in this hotel about 5 years ago and was so happy with it, decided to stay again on this most recent trip to Rome. Wish I hadn't now. Its location is great. Ten euro taxi ride from Termini train station. Most major attractions are within walking distance (Vatican the exception). Room had a strange odour when we walked in....

This year's trip to Rome had us on a package deal so it was our first foray into Rome's hotels. Budget is the key word and I picked this hotel out because of its location. I must say I was very happy to have found it. On the down side, the room was very small (only one end table for...

We were 3 adults, so we booked a room with 4 single beds. It was difficult to sleep as I felt like I was falling off the side. The Wifi was a bit slow, but workable. Breakfast was excellent with fresh, scrambled eggs and the usual pastries, buns, cereal, etc. Good location, within walking distance of the Colosseum. Very clean....

Stayed here at the beginning of October with my husband. Lovely hotel, although some of the decoration could do with a touch up. As stated on previous reviews, the room was small and the double bed was 2 firm single matresses puth together, however we didn't have a problem sleeping. Room comes with adjustable air con, fridge, safe, TV (which...

I fly and stay all over the world, when I came to this hotel I figured it would be a budget motel at best, really not expecting much, but it's worse than that. Lets start with the room, as soon as you walk in the overwhelming cigarette smoke takes over everything. Being non-smokers and in europe we are used to...

Paid just over £100 for 3 nights in August which was a complete bargain for Rome - and even included breakfast. Arrived by train; 15 min walk from station. City centre and main attractions approx 10-20 min walk away. Nearest Metro 10 mins. So all in all a decent location considering price. Nice traditional room, staff friendly, breakfast the best...

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
