This B&B is excellent! There are 3 rooms, all nicely decorated and with private bathrooms. Location is great (near Termini train station and Vittorio Emanuelle subway), and if you don't want to take the subway, you reach many main attractions with a 5-15 min walk. Breakfast is amazing and the hosts are the best. Pietro and Cristina do everything to... More

We have just returned from a long weekend in Rome staying at the B&B. It is ideal in every way. Close to train station and many sights. Has plenty of excellent restaurants nearby and most importantly the owners are welcoming, incredible helpful and with a great knowledge of the city. Our room was lovely and comfortable and the breakfast layout... More

I can't believe I forgot to write a review!!! First of all, just book it. Seriously, you will not regret it. It's a lovely apartment with 3 (I think 3) rooms, each with private bathroom/toilet. The building from the road doesn't look like anything special, but once you enter the main gates, you'll see the inner courtyard which was beautiful!... More

My wife and I spent a couple of nights here before catching a flight back to London. There are many places to stay in Rome but this is a really good choice of B&B. The location makes it very convenient for the main station (Termini) and, hence, to airport connections by train and by bus. It is, also, close enough... More

My husband and I stayed at this B&B for 3 nights in early October. Pietro was such a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful in providing recommendations of spots to see and places to eat. The room was very nice and comfortable. We had the room facing the inner courtyard so it was very quiet. The breakfast is very good... More

The location was ideal for us to return our hire car at Termini station. Restricted areas and lack of parking make driving within Rome a nightmare! Be warned, though! Although the usual hire car desks are within the Station complex, the return/ pick-up location is in the nearby multi-storey car park down the street. Biancagiulia B&B is within a typical... More

My wife and I have just returned from a short break in Rome to celebrate our wedding anniversary and so very glad we chose the Biancagiulia. It is in an excellent position just a short 10 mins walk from the Termini. The bedroom is an ideal size with a high ceiling. I found the Wi-Fi no problem setting up and... More

Pietro and Cristina are wonderful hosts with a lovely b and b. Pietro was very helpful advising us how best to spend our time in Rome. We found his advice very helpful. Pietro was the friendliest possible host, took time to chat with us and make his superb cappuccino for breakfast time - plus tea as well! Continental breakfast plus fruit and boiled eggs available. The bedrooms (on the second floor of a former palace) were large and clean, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, nothing lacking at all. There is a... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
