Biancagiulia B&B, Rome, Italy June 8, 9, 10, 2016 My friend and I stayed in Christina and Pietro’s charming B&B for three nights in June. It is located within a few blocks of Termini train station, convenient for transport to all of Rome. I walked from the Coliseum-Forum area to the B&B. As soon as you enter the courtyard and... More

We are joining the chorus of praise! Pietro and Cristina are wonderful hosts, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. The rooms are clean, comfortable and large. And there is air conditioning in each room, very welcome in summer! Biancagiulia is just a few blocks walk from Termini Station. It is close to three Metro stops and many... More

I stayed here for three nights with my two daughters. What a joy. Hidden behind a huge door in a busy street is peace and quiet with two wonderful hosts, Pietro and Christina. It's very close to termini station and walkable distance from the Colosseum. Pietro gave us lots of ideas of places to go and places to eat. Breakfast... More

With the hosts Pietro and Cristina you feel at home. Breakfast is nice, snacks and fruits are available any time.... More

Pietro and Cristina showed exceptional hospitality from before I checked in until after I left. I am a grandma traveling solo and was a bit nervous about navigating Rome by myself, but I received good advice about sightseeing, helpful info about the Metro, and friendly attention and care. The facility is very clean, my bed was super-comfortable for my jet-lagged... More

My husband and I just got back from our trip to Italy. Rome was our last stop on our 2 week trip so I can definitely say that Pietro was the kindest host that we experienced in the various hotels and B&Bs that we stayed at throughout the country. Pietro helped us with a map of Rome, he highlighted major... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
