The hotel staff are very welcoming and extremely helpful. I contacted them prior to our arrival and they helped arrange transfers too and from the hotel, gave me recommendations of authentic restaurants close by, one which we used to celebrate a birthday, that was excellent and we ended up using twice. The hotel rooms have everything you need and has an excellent view across Rome from the roof top. Would certainly consider using this hotel again on another trip to Rome with it being perfectly located and in walking distance to the majority of the historical sites you’d want to see.
This hotel is a perfect location and such a lovely hotel. From the moment we checked in the staff where amazing and the man on reception was so friendly and gave us advice on places to eat how to get to landmarks etc. Each night they gave us warm milk for our baby and the staff were so friendly making a fuss of him each morning at breakfast. The roof top bar has an amazing view. Would definitely stay here again. Great location, great staff and great breakfast
The staff were so helpful & provided information on local transport, tourist attractions, eateries & shopping. Nothing was a problem, they went over & above to ensure our stay was the best! The hotel is also very central & within walking distance to many of the attractions
Location was perfect, hotel clean and comfortable with helpful staff. 10 minutes walk to Coleseum, lots of restaurants nearby, just make sure you leave the main roads to find more choice. We did the hop on bus 72-hour ticket which was good, especially when going to the Vatican City, also helped us get our bearings for where we were and wanted to go. Roof terrace looked lovely but did not use due to weather, I'm sure in the summer it would be perfect. We would use this hotel again,
Great location for transport. Buffet breakfast was lovely. Rooms clean with everything we needed. However it is the staff that make this hotel a little gem. Fabulous customer service, reception staff very helpful and friendly. Thank you for making my birthday a little bit special (we hadn't mentioned anything) when we return in the evening there was a note and 🍾.
This hotel is a marvellous find within walking distance of all the main sites - Colosseum just round the corner, Santa Maria Maggiore literally at the end of the road, Palatine Hill 10 mins, Doria Pamphilij 15 mins, Villa Borghese 40 mins, Vatican 45 mins - and more besides in between. All the receptionists are welcoming and informative and someone is there 24 hours a day. The room we had was fine. There wasnt much of an outlook but it was incredibly quiet. The bed is quite firm but we slept well. It was cold for Rome but the heating/aircon unit worked a treat and soon had our room toasty. There is a lovely rooftop terrace which was open for us to take in some views. The ground floor breakfast room was large enough for everyone to find a table, even with a very large group there. There is a cooked breakfast available, kept in heated containers, though MOH felt it could be hotter. There was a good range of cold foods to make up a substantial continental breakfast including rolls, bread/toast, cheeses, hams, pastries, fruit, cereals, fruit juices, hot drinks and all of this was topped up regularly by the friendly breakfast staff and you just help yourself. There is a kettle in the room with complimentary tea, coffee and sugar. My only tiny gripe was that the replenishment of this is a bit hit and miss and the mugs are not always cleaned/replaced. I am quite happy to wash up my own mugs but sometimes we came back to one clean one and one still containing cold tea which I found a bit odd. We had a problem with the kettle one day and this was sorted out within minutes by another very pleasant member of staff. All in all, we would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends. If you want a very reasonably priced central hotel - this is it. To all the staff - thank you for a wonderful stay.…
Quiet hotel near the Colosseum in Rome. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and functionally. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Would recommend this to all my friends and family. The best hotel we stayed in while on our Christmas trip
The hotel was both better and worse than I expected. It was much cleaner and the breakfast much better. But the beds and pillows were not so great - hard flat pillows, saggy mattresses. And the rooms were very small. But we had everything we needed, and the front desk people were very very nice and helpful with finding restaurants, transportation to/from airport/cruiseport, tours, etc. The location is very central. Overall, it is a good clean functional place to stay for a day or two, when I have lots to keep me busy, but not a luxury retreat where I'd want to spend a lot of time.
Had a comfortable stay here. Stayed for 4 nights from 25th Dec 2022 to 29th Dec 2022. The room was small and did not feel like 16m2. Other than that a good breakfast and all round solid offering though was the same all four days. The ladies serving were efficient, polite and pleasant. Kudos to them. Tomaso at the front counter was polite, friendly and informative. Coffee and tea making facilities. Bed was comfortable and not to hard. Shower was small but we made do. Location was very close to Cavour Metro. Solid budget hotel.
Good 3 Star Hotel close to the Colluseum. Just near the Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore. Friendly and helpful staff. Continental breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon. Clean Beds are a little bit to hard for my taste. The hotel is a little bit off the Main Street so it was quite quiet regarding to traffic noise. We had a lovely New Year’s Eve on the roof terrace with a 270° view over Rome. Overlooking all the fireworks.
