Arrived in Rome just after noon and an easy walk from Termini Train station with our roll aboard carry on luggage. Room was available for early check in and reception was very helpful with a map and pointing out attractions. Wifi was excellent and room was clean with 3 single beds and two more making a double. Bathroom a bit... More

We stayed here for four nights, there was four of us sharing a room which was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The room was basic but pleasantly decorated and had air conditioning, a fridge and a safe which were useful. The room was clean and towels etc where changed daily. As the hotel is so central, traffic is... More

We arrived earlier (around 1000) after a finished a cruise and had one more night in Rome before flying home the following day. We had stayed in another hotel in the same building before the cruise and the location and value for money cannot be bettered. Our room wasn't ready, but our luggage was kept secure and when we returned... More

We stayed for seven nights in early September and would recommend this hotel for the price. It is small, about 10 rooms, on the third floor of a typical Roman apartment building with a small old fashioned lift. All four of the staff we met were fantastically friendly and helpful and someone is at the desk 24/7, so very secure.... More

This hotel was a great choice for our stay in Rome. It was close to Termini for bus & train. The hotel was not fancy but very clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very basic but the bed is comfortable and there is a small TV and a fridge - we had no... More

I found this hotel fine for our stay, and for the price. The rooms were clean, but a bit small, and a bit dark. However, the hotel was very cheap, we only stayed one night, and we spent most of our time outside the hotel. So the standard of the hotel wasn't really that important for us. It's located really... This hotel is just a short walk (approx 10 min) from Termini station. It has bus stops just outside too but we ended up walking to all the main sightseeing spots (Colosseum, Trevi fountain and Pantheon). The staff at the hotel are great! Very friendly and gave lots of good advice on how to get around. Our room was a... More

The staff at this hotel are absolutely amazing. We travelled around Europe for a month and no one compared to the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff here. The gentleman who checked us in gave us a rough itinerary on what we can do in Rome, including where to eat. We followed his advised and had a fantastic time. The... More

Hotel was clean and location was perfect. Walking distance from Termini station and actually you can walk everywhere from here. Staff was superfriendly and always there if help... More

Stayed there with a friend last week. Room was very clean and cleaned daily. You're given towels and soap. Bed sheets are changed every 2 days too. A TV is available too but we did not use it. The wifi connection is quite decent. You also have a fridge to keep some food you've bought. Air-conditioning worked perfectly. Lift is... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
