For someone who enjoys the modern world, the Hotel Atlantico was terribly old. I've always enjoyed relishing in the Italian charm but in so far, this has been a bad hotel to stay in. No one helps you while you're trying to get your foot in the door, the receptionists forgot to tell me there's breakfast available, and what's worse:...

We experiences a big room suitable for a family of 4 people. Hotel is more traditional than modern but offers free wifi. The breakfast is served in a very nice room, and they have big chairs for babies!

Bettoja Atlantico is just a short walk away from Roma Termini, the main train station, and to some of the historical sights. As the hotel itself rightly advises you, "Rome is a museum best seen on foot", its location serves the purpose well. The Pantheon complex, piazza Venezia, Santa Maria Maggiore basilica, Trevi, Navona...and many other attractions are at a...

stayed for business, the place was roasting, A/C wasn't working, noisy (but that's rome) room was ok all the normal amenities. Was really an average stay. It was clean and the location close to the train station is ideal. Good walking distance to a lot of great places.

I booked triple room and got quad. What a wonderful surprise! Room was very large and comfy. I arrived early in the morning without notifying the hotel, but they gave me my room without any problem. I just loved it. WIFI was working fine. AC was working fine. Bed was was comfy. Bathroom was clean and everything was in working...

Hotel is located at amazing location for those who want to explore Rome, walking distance from Roma termini but need to be better in customer service and seriously need some upgrade. Expect a pure Italian breakfast nothing more.

The staff in the front Is rude. I will never want to come back here. Price is over rated. Old, lack of maintenance. Inside furniture is crappy,a lot of upgrade to be made, but not done. Not recommended at all.

We didn't enjoy our staying. The hotel is very old. The elevator is hardly for 2 persons, more than that and it would collapsed, this is how we felt inside it. The breakfast was not good. The omelet was bearly cooked. We certainly not go back and not recommend to others to get this hotel..

My wife and I recently spent 4 nights at the Atlantico and found it to be a reasonably appointed hotel within an easy walk from the railway station, which was important for us as we arrived and departed Rome by train. Our room, which was on the 4th floor was large but a little dated. The bathroom had a bath...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
