When I booked I wasn't expecting a nice place but I was impressed. Good location, it is near Termini. The room was clean and in good state and breakfast had breads, eggs and fruits. The price charged was fair.

we checked in to this hotel because we stayed at the adjoining hotel "Rimini" 12 years ago and thought it was good. When we got to our room, it was tiny the bed was a double bed and not queen, there was mold in the shower, the string to dry your cloths was black with mold, they changed us to...

We stayed for 5 nights in this hotel, and it was more than enough. The room is small, the bed is not comfortable, but the room is clean. The staff are very friendly. The lady in the breakfast area are very helpful and wouldn't mind making you a fresh cappuccino. Very good location to the Termini station and the bus...

Good for a one or two night stay. Our room was small, no gap between the twin beds. Beds were hard. Shower room looked new and was clean. My understanding was that the air conditioning came on when movement in the room. Had no problem with a/c. Older couple who greeted us were nice, although it did take a while...

Very nice, modest but comfortable and clean hotel few metres from the railway station and metro. Internet is medium speed. Rooms are rather quiet. Personnel is friendly and helpful (there are also free maps of Rome). Breakfast is good: pastries, cereals, coffee, tea, eggs, cheese etc., no fresh fruits unfortunately. In general, nice stay. We recommend this hotel.

This is good small hotel, clean rooms, friendly and helpful reception. Only their breakfast menu is modest and minimal. The lift is small , rickety and to be shared with another hotel in same building. Reception is friendly and gives all the information requested patiently. I hope they add few more items in Breakfast like egg, fruits, bread etc. The...

Close to train station that's the only positive. The front staff was rude! My best friend went to the desk and was ignored. This was my first experience in Europe and heard the boutique hotels were small. Well the shower in this hotel only a waif could move freely. Every time we came in from an outing we had to...

Corot Hotel is shared with Rimini Hotel. Very close to Termini station for transport and shops. Room was good size. Thought it was unusual we had to contact reception whenever we wanted air-conditioning turned on or off. Bonus having fridge in room.

We stayed 4 nights in the Hotel Corot. The room was small, the bed very hard. The lift was the smallest thing I've ever travelled in. Breakfast was nice but nothing hot except for coffee and toast. The location is 70m from Termini Railway Station, pretty much at the top of the heart of Rome. From there you can catch...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
