Stayed here last week when Rome was shutting down, it was very quiet as you can imagine but the staff were great and very pleasant during tough times, breakfast was good and their are restaurants in the area within 5-10mins walk, not the easiest place to drive to but it is Rome! Good hotel overall and usually holiday inn express

Iron and kettle both available. Tea provided isn't very nice so if you like tea bring your own tea bags lol Staff friendly and somi at breakfast was also lovely. Breakfast was ok. Same things everyday. Lots of different sweet pastries and croissant. Boiled egg. Grilled courgette. Different cheeses and bread. Cereal. Loved the bed was extremely comfortable. Room service was good always returned back to a clean room. Has mini fridge and TV. No safe in room. Only few hangers.

this is not a HIExpress 100% - i think someone owned the hotel and IHG just manages it but still IHG manages it pretty much most of the Express hotels. if you take the tram, it will give you a decent 15-minute walk to the hotel but there is an option to take a bus (though every 20 minutes interval) that will bring you to a metro station. rooms are large and they offer good breakfast options though we had the same set of options for 3 days of stay. some of the staff do not speak good english so quite a challenge. there is a big supermarket and some small restaurant near the hotel if you opt to eat something.

I booked this through booking.com and everything worked out perfectly. It is out of town so a cab ride / shuttle bus / UBER is needed to get to the Santa Maria Del Sorcosso Metro B Line. There are a couple of restaurants nearby that serve late into the evening so don't worry if you are arriving after 9pm. I agree with a couple of the comments on here that the replenishment of the tea / coffee was non-existent but it did not detract from our stay. The staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful. Hot shower, decent bed and decent double sofa bed for the kids. Only issue we had was that the coaches outside started up fairly early so we were woken up unnecessarily. breakfast was excellent. I agree also that the City Tax is not that well explained. And to be honest its not the hotels fault but it feels like a bit of a rip off considering that Rome, whilst beautiful, is in need of a massive injection of cash to redo the roads and areas outside of the city. We had to pay €6 per person per night. Not great when you are trying to do things on the cheap!
