Hotel room was well presented. The room was very clean and the bathroom also. We found the hotel to be excellent value in comparison to other local hotels. The hotel is within a few minutes walk from the Vatican City with the nearest metro station being Ottoviano.

This is not a luxury hotel, however, it is perfectly located...literally minutes from the Vatican City. Lots of restaurants and shops right out the door. The room was not "fancy" in any way, but it was comfortable and fairly spacious for the family room we stayed at. The water pressure in the shower was great, even though the fixtures were... More

We booked this hotel on the basis of previous reviews, one of which specifically noted it was possible to stroll down each morning to the Vatican parish church of Saint Anne for Holy Mass. And for this it was ideal as the little church is only 5 or 6 minutes away by foot. Indeed the location is perfect for exploring... More

This is by far the cleanest hotel that I have ever stayed in. The room I had was on the fifth floor, and was small by American standards. This is not a complaint, but a fact. The room was spotless! The bathroom was also spotless. I like a very firm mattress and was very happy with the bed. Slept with... More

Amalia is a good value choice near the Vatican. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout and breakfast better than expected. The hotel is near the Metro stop and good cafes, restaurants and grocery stores. The rooms could do with an update but are perfectly good for the price. We stayed in a family room much bigger than expected but slightly... More

My wife and kids stayed here for a week while visiting Rome and I must say that the hotel was perfect for us. 2 blocks from Vatican, we were able to attend mass at the Vatican at 7 am each morning. This hotel is located really close to Vatican, the room is clean but already quite old, at night there are not enough lighting around the hotel area. Breakfast is not bad with very limited choice. We stayed here for four nights and it was great. The staff were very friendly and even helped with our check-in online for our return. The breakfast was good and enough to set us up for the day. The cost was reasonable. Location was all important for us and we were not disappointed.

You have written the review to the wrong hotel. Be careful the next time. Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
