Hotel personnel were friendly, rooms were clean, breakfast was appealing. During breakfast there was a variety of fruits, fresh pastry, and coffee, juice or tea. Location was centralized and close to modes of transportation (subway, train station and bus stops). Concierge was very helpful that he contacted our shuttle in order to have reservations for us to be picked up...

My husband and I stayed for five nights to celebrate our 40th birthdays. Although decor was tired it felt very old Italian which is what we wanted. We stayed on the 4th floor. Nice large room with large ensuite shower. Bed sheets and towels changed daily. No noise at night unless we kept window open which we did on occasion...

Old fashioned, basic, spotlessly clean. Lovely service and people. There’s a roof terrace with incredible views and the whole place is fantastically situated in a really buzzing part of the city. If you want somewhere to use a an easy base and close to great restaurants then this is for you.

Upon arrival the reception area was nice enough, receptionist was nice enough and informed us that the lift was just through the door. Now I am not one of those people who get freaked out by elevators but with three people and two bags in it I thought the thing was going to collapse on itself. Feeling relieved to actually...

Hotel staff were very friendly and the place was clean. However the room did not meet our expectations as it was very small for two people, bits needed repairing shower was not good, no safe in room, the air conditioning vent was leaking, noisy and left open apparently that's how it works. I did see couple of other rooms they...

The location is great with lots of places to eat locally and with a really great restaurant just yards away. The rooms were very clean and with a great bathroom. It is in a great location only 10 minutes walk from the Colosseum. The breakfast could be improved. Some of the staff were really nice and some not very friendly....

Just returned from a stay in Rome staying at the Hotel Gallia. The hotel itself is in an ideal location, 10 minutes walk to the Coliseum,Train/bus terminals and easily walkable to many of the sights of Rome and right next to Maria Maggiore Basilar. The hotel is a great base station for those that want a base for the night...

We stayed at this hotel for a week. We got a room with a bath tub, meaning the room size was doubled comparing to regular rooms with just showers. Approx. a one bedroom suite size in the USA. It was across the Basilica of Saint Maria Maggiore with a view of the basilica's back side. Only 2 minutes away from...

Hotel is very well located and within walking distance of the famous landmarks, the Vatican was the only location we thought was too far to walk and we used one of the many hop on buses to get there (bus stop is just across the road).
