Our stay in Rome was quite enjoyable, enhanced by our stay at Hotel Gallia. It is close the Forum, the Collesium, and the Roma Termini. We walked everywhere in Rome, even to/from the Vatican and the old Jewish section. Breakfasts at the hotel were wonderful, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Our room was very comfortable with a very...

We stayed at this brilliant hotel and arrived by walking from the nearby Termini, bus and train station. We were welcomed by Roberto on the front desk, who was very helpful, friendly, and showed us where to visit, giving us a map of the area. We travelled with friends who were celebrating their wedding anniversary. I contacted the hotel beforehand...

Very good hotel - helpful and English speaking - great breakfast - excellent location within walking distance to all usual sites - Vatican was a bit far so we took the bus. Really easy to get about and maps do not give a real proportion. What a great long weekend we had. A glass of wine or two on the...

Had a great visit to this beautiful city. The hotel was fantastic, Roberto helped us with many things such as organising taxis to and from the hotel. The room was spotless clean an spacious. The terrace was lovely to come back and relax to after being out all day. Breakfasts were fresh plentiful and a good choice of items. We...

Right price and right position in Rome. Right next to stop 2 on the open top tour bus. Pizzeria La Mela D'oro just 50 mtrs away for a great meal. Bit of a cliche (we are from Nottinghamshire) but the Robin Hood bar on Via Cavour do great cocktails. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at Gallia Hotel,...

Just got back from a 3 night stay at this hotel. Very good location just a 10-15 min walk from Termini station (once you have your bearings!); round the corner from the Basilica di st. Maria Maggiore; and down the main road from the Colosseum, Forum and Monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II. Yes it could probably do with a renovation...

We were taken aback by our huge suite-like room in Hotel Gallia. For the price of a lower-end hotel, we got a 4 room suite that felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. The hotel was comfortable, the staff courteous and helpful, and the location central. I would recommend this place to my friends!

The Hotel is in a very good location. The roof terrace was a bonus, after a busy day of site seeing the perfect place to relax with a drink. (no bar but a handy supermarket very nearby). Roberto, on reception was very knowledgeable and his help and recommendations in booking our tours was excellent. All round excellent value.

Dear guest, in the 10 months that passed from your stay we applied some positive changes in cleaning, which we did our best to improve. The elevator is not antique and it cannot be changes, as we are in a historical building. Four people do fit in it though. We confirm that we fully correspond to the regional 4 stars...

Booked this hotel because of a combination of it being in a good location, good star rating and good price. Booked a twin/double room for 3 nights stay. The room was large, which was nice to see, however there were a number of parts to the room that we noticed through our stay. The decor was dated but we put...
