OK 4 Star breakfast but that is it! A/C never got cold in our or our kids room. The maid would actually turn it up or off while we were out. This terrace we kept reading so much about was not open for breakfast. Beds were as comfortable as pull out couches. Staff was friendly but sent us to Ciampino... More

Very nice and big room that really gave a luxury feeling. Good location within walking distance to most of Rome's tourist attraction. Service ok. The tourist taxes for 3 nights were 36 euros which is many times more than we ever had to pay anywhere else

Dear Lacket, thanks for your kind review about your stay. Unfortunately the tax has been decided by Rome's mayor in 2011, none of it goes to the hotel, we only have to collect it. More

We stayed in room 301 which is huge with plenty of space to store your stuff. The location is great, lots of places to eat, buy drinks and it is only a 10 minutes walk to the Colosseum. The breakfast could be improved. Some of the staff was nice and some not very friendly. I would still recommend this hotel... More

Stayed here as a surprise 30th Birthday present from my husband. It was wonderfully quirky and loved everything about it. Staff were really friendly. Will definitely be recommending to other people. I loved it.

stayed here for three nights while on honeymoon. I picked this hotel as I had visions of eating breakfast on the roof top terrace while looking out at the Rome skyline, was disappointed to find the terrace is only open in July and August. Breakfast was plentiful but not eating on the terrace ruined it for me. On the positives... More

Dear Madame, the terrace is open the whole year but breakfast there is served only in summer, as at 7 am when breakfast starts it is rather cold there in June. Thanks for your kind words about our location and staff. More

We spent 6 nights in Rome and found this hotel to be in a very good location. This hotel was near the train station, which was perfect for us. The hotel is a bit old but has charm. Roberto who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Also Alex who was on in the afternoons, we found the same.... More

I visited the hotel in July, 2015. In general, I'm satisfied: I was provided a free transfer by business - class car from the airport. That's an advantage, but the procedure of check-in took me 30 minutes because the receptionist wasn't given the right information from the travel company(((. I was absolutely exhausted after 2 flights but nobody offered me... More

Quaint hotel in an excellent & convenient location! Room was very clean, very comfortable bed & great minibar too! Service was very good & great breakfast each morning. Yes the decor in places could do with a bit of a revamp but didn't affect our stay at all. Would definitely stay in again on our next trip!

Hotel Gallia is in need of renovation. The decoration was poor. Bathrooms need updating. Location a little of the beaten track. They had removed the fire door and the lamps outside are bedroom looked burnt. The housekeeping kept the room clean, but no coffee or milk only tea in the room. I would not recommend this hotel.

undoubtedly, this hotel is well located. It is about 10 minutes to the major tourist sites and the walk is downhill. Nearby there are plenty of places to eat which are not too busy.
