Stayed here for one amazing night while returning from a cruise from Civitavecchia and flying out of Rome the next day. My wife and I had stayed several nights in Rome prior to the cruise at another splendid hotel, but be both regret not spending more time at this phenomenal establishment. The staff was extraordinary and genuinely welcoming. We originally...

The Inn at the Spanish steps certainly has a great location making your trip to Rome easy as all major attractions are within walking distance. However , its price is way higher than what it offers given its narrow entrance and small 2 person elevator. While the superior Room is of good size , the bathrooms certainly needs upgrade and...

Pros Classical design. The rooms were well appointed and clean. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. This hotel is all about its location. The wife loved the fact that if she fell out of the entrance she landed in the Gucci shop! The roof top terrace is an island of peace, glorious in the sunshine. Cons Not many to be...

We got up grated room with french balcony, thanks with our long lasted Club membership in SLH. The room was street size on 4th floor and you could see the Steps from your balcony....

I loved my 2 nights at this hotel. The location is perfect it is literally 30 second walk to the Spanish steps. We had a Junior suite which was very large for a European hotel room, it had a king bed and a couch, definitely an anomaly in Europe. We could see the Spanish steps from our window, admittedly you...

The Inn at the Spanish Steps is nestled between Cartier and Prada. It’s an upscale neighborhood with plenty of great window shopping for sure. I was there a few days before Christmas and Prada was serving Champagne to customers waiting for admission. The hotel staff was wonderful and always helpful. Considering all of the amazing reviews, and this hotel's status as a Small Luxury Hotel, we found the Inn a general disappointment. The room was rather spacious, but overcrowded with furniture (you run into the mounted LCD tv with your shoulder as you pass in front of the bed). The room had a very odd mix of contemporary and traditional...

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
