We visited Rome for our friends 70th birthday. We chose this hotel as it was within walking distance from the Vatican. On arrival the guy on reception was polite and pleasant. As previous reviews the rooms were rather small, double bed, wardrobe, chest of draws with the tele on. There was really no room to be able to put the...

On arrival last night for a room booked in December we were sent to another room four blocks away. I booked a hotel with a roof terrace and now I am staying in a hotel with nothing. As described but other writers the man on reception is rude and unhelpful - the receptionist at where we have ended up was...

A very pleasant hotel. Well situated and welcoming. Comfortable beds in cosy rooms. Highlight was breakfast on the terrace. Good choice and pleasant surroundings. I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the vicinity of the Vatican.

I would have rated the hotel alone 3 stars however the staff were very polite and helpful and deserved the 4.The rooms were small but adequate for a short stay ,they were in good decorative order and very clean. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms which would have been nice however these are available from the roof...

Just returned from a lovely three-night stay at this hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful - for instance responding to email enquiries really promptly, offering to look after luggage after we checked out until our evening flight. Room was compact but comfortable and we had fun trying out the whirlpool bath. Breakfast in the garden room on...

This trip was a Christmas present from my husband which didn't disappoint. Due to us going in January the bar was closed in this hotel, however it was very close the bars and restaurants in Vatican City. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are there to do a lot in the day. The breakfast in the morning was...

Great stay for a laid back solo traveler. I spent 2 weeks in this hotel. The hotel room was very small, even by European standards, definitely couldn't have stayed in this room with my husband. But I did not come to Rome for the hotel. For the low price I paid, I was happy with a clean, relatively quiet hotel...

Went on a Secret Escape deal , cost was £530 B&b Fri -Mon . This hotel is in a nice location . We got off the plane and headed right to get the bus in to Rome centre , cost of €7 each way . Taxi would be €50 so a good saving . When you get to station head...

We stayed for three nights in early February. The room was clean and a good size. Staff were polite. The breakfast on offer wasn't very good quality and the choice was limited. This hotel is in a good spot just a few minutes walk from the Vatican. Not really any lounge area in the hotel.

Location superb,Staff good and friendly. Hotel has lovely old features, high ceiling ornate coving. But alas smelly room, ensuite rancid smell on return from days out. Breakfast on top floor poor, food basic although had soya milk for me thank you, flooring uneven and wobbly in places, but potential considering location was Hugh! With a little investment this could have merited a Secret...

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
