With new Covid rules our stay at Globus was always going to be different from our previous visits but must say almost everything went well, sanitiser at the entrance, face mask wearing required in public areas went well except on our last day while at breakfast a family of 4 arrived for breakfast and the youngest a boy aged about 8 clearly seemed beyond the control of his parents and failed to sanitise his hands at the entrance of the restaurant and then decided to wander around the breakfast area with a face covering using drink dispensers which everybody else had followed the rules and allowed the staff get these to reduce the risk of cross contamination but it later became quite clear of why the child had little care following Covid advice when the father also thought it was fine for himself to wander around without a face mask and like his child helping himself which the staff had done for the rest of us, it’s a shame families like this have little regard to their duty and the hospitality industry has been through enough without all the progress being thrown away by selfish people, pic of the offender attached, other than this the Hotel provided an excellent service in difficult circumstances and hope that business gets back to the level it should be for this good hotel, the hotel is situated without half a mile of the Metro station and bus and tram services, their are restaurants, bars and cafes close to the hotel and it is situated in a quiet neighbourhood

Hi Mark! Thank you for your wonderful feedback! I'm sorry about the issues related to other people behave. I feel what you wrote and I'm mad to read this. We've always chosen to believe in the awareness and responsibility of single individuals. In pre-covid era we used to do that for examples with all the green and ecologic matters. And now with the new covid rules. Of course we can't have the control on everyone, every minute and everywhere. And actually we don't want it. But for us the most important thing is the safety of all our guest, so I double thank you for your feedback. It is crucial to let us know this kind of behaviours. I promise that we are doing all our best to keep your safety the higher as possible, and I'm glad to read that all our efforts are seen! :) I hope to see you all soon! Ciao! Valeria

Was there for 2 nights and it was somehow ok but not more. Rooms are average at best and breakfast is ok. What really upset me was that despite talking with reception they could not fix internet in the 5th floor. Absolutely not working, so for every mail I had to go down to lobby. Not really acceptable in these days.

Because my wife was in the Policlinico Umberto II hospital up the road my 8 year-old grandson and I had an extended stay here. For us it was home, not just a place to sleep while on holiday. We chose this hotel because it was close to the hospital, not because of its facilities. However it has all the one needs to enjoy a stay. It is close to the metro, to trams and easy walking to Termini for trains to other cities. There is a full range of shops just down the road including supermarket and a large covered produce market, and many very reasonably priced eateries too. The buffet breakfast has a multinational menu - cake and nutella for the Italians, cold meat and cheese for the Dutch and Germans, sausage and scrambled egg with toast and jam for the Brits, and muesli, fresh fruit and youghurt for the health conscious Our room was spacious, bed comfortable and well serviced, always immaculately cleaned daily. The leaky toilet and sink kept me from giving 5 stars. But it was the friendly, helpful, courteous and concerned staff that really made our stay here not just a room and a bed; they made us feel at home. Thank you. I hope we can return again one day.

Found all staff to be very pleasant. Good location around the University. Found it easy to walk to termini and then big red bus around rome. Room was a good base. Breakfast was good too. Do agree with people who say you can hear everything but it never bothered us
