Stayed here for a few nights with my father recently. Room was cramped (as is often the case in Rome) but whilst we expected this to be the case, there was barely any room to walk around the bed without bumping into some other piece of furniture(!)

The amenities in the room worked fine but a very small bathroom with little room for 2 people to manage with it comfortably.

It look as if some renovations were being done to the hotel which manifested in dirtyish carpets on the stairs.

The other major minus point was the Wifi was almost non-existent during out stay.

To be fair, breakfast was good and plentiful in a nice little garden patio at the back of the hotel but it lacked ambience due to the lack of people.

We ended up moving to another hotel for the remainder of our stay.

The price and location are quite good for seven days in Rome.
The breakfast was included, and it was quite nice the first few days, but eventually it becomes quite uniform (a more varied selection would be preferable). The rooms and the hotel are a few years old, and could use a touch of paint. (It also gives it a certain charm) The small garden and the bar, and in particular the staff were decidedly unsurpassed and helpful!:)
The area can also boast of having some pretty good places to eat, where hosteria del bruno can definitely be recommended!
The hotel is located approx. 500 m from Termini station. Where there are filled with many people.
We were there for seven nights in a room with two single beds, a little small at the end, but quite excellent if you stay 4-6 days.
Would I recommend "Hotel Astoria Garden" absolutely.

My friend booked me a room here for one night when I arrived in Roma. After being tired from jet lag and long distance travel, the Astoria Garden was a welcome oasis. The front desk staff was kind and accommodating, I especially loved the garden and spent a lot of time there. My room was small but it had a wonderful balcony overlooking the garden. Breakfast was buffet style with lots of choices. My favorite thing was the unlimited supply of cappuccino from the machine. The hotel location and price were just right considering that rates in ROMA are outrageous. For some reason on the one night I was there the rates were not so bad, and I'm grateful to my friend for booking a room for me here.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I’ve stayed in better hostels. No hot water, no WiFi, no air conditioning, dirty towels, used plaster left in shower. Didn’t get what we ordered for breakfast. After checkout we asked them to look after our bags for a few hours they said they would put them somewhere safe but they were left in the lobby where anyone could have walked away with them!

I gave the point for the hotel facade. I booked a single room for one night paying 200 euros and I found 5 beds in the room they assigned me, the room was obsolete and old. The carpet on the floor is filthy, the heaters are rusty. The damp and worn walls, in short, a ruin. I arrived at 7pm in the evening and found the bathtub dirty, I asked to clean it but they had no staff until they left the next day and I couldn't take a shower.

The location is great and this is the only real plus. The room I got was very basic, smelling like smoke (the bed cover had even a cigarette burn). Mattress and pillow (luckily i had my own) were very hard. The room was at the ground floor facing the hotel lounge. As result there were people outside my window making all kind of noises. Breakfast was very basic as well. Sure price was kind of cheap but if you look at the cost/quality ratio you will still be disappointed

A big disappointment at the price we paid we thought it was a 3-4 star. More kind 1-2 star

Would not wish it on anyone. Garden breakfast may sound romantic but lots of pigeons harass you. Staff friendly but simply give lip service. Breakfast was stodgy and cut melon must have been sitting there overnight covered. Definitely a disappointment with stodgy choices. Lots of cut bread open to air and prone to coughing clients. There seem a few people coughing and may reflect the air conditioning system
Safe not working
Decor peeling off and in a time shell of the 1970-80s
Not again sadly
Good luck

+ location close to the station but just far enough not to hear noise

- no hot water we had to change rooms after one day
- mold in the shower rooms (while solutions exist in hotel environments)
- Poorly soundproofed
- tapestry, worn carpet
- at 200.-/ night we expect at least a clean bathroom

Dirty hotel. Bad room, cold and damp. Shower not working. Very poor breakfast with very rude staff. For 190 euros a day I hoped to get a different treatment. Absolutely to avoid even if it is close to Termini station

We had been at this hotel in 2019. We decided to stay again by location and also cost. The hotel is very good. Ample room, bathroom idem. Cleanliness, reception all great. There is an option to have coffee in an indoor garden. Highlight for reception.

The Leonardo Express is the easiest way to get from the airport to the central termini. I think it costs about 14 euro. Then the hotel is a short walk from there.
