We booked directly at the hotel which was good as we were able to move the dates due to flight cancellation, on top we received an upgrade. In our Deluxe room was a hand-written welcome card from the manager with our name on it - what more do want. Grand place is located perfectly, a lot is within walking distance, such as Spanish steps and Fontana di Tervi 10 min. and Villa Borghese is just around the corner. We walked a lot and used the bus only twice as the hotel was so central. The Grand Hotel is beautiful, clean and very well kept. We had a nice room on 5th floor with a big bathroom, a good large king-size bed and a balcony. The hotel offered us a bottle of Prosecco which we enjoyed on our lovely terrace. Breakfast was a highlight of the day, served in the hotels own Ristorante Cadorin – just beautiful. The food was excellent and there was a big choice to choose from. Many thanks to Vlad and Mirela who made the start of the day just perfect. On our second day they already knew what we liked to drink for breakfast. We got to know 2 very helpful and friendly ladies at the reception/front desk, thank you ever so much Maria and Giulia. Last but not least thank you Veronica for making booking and rebooking so easy. Needless to say that we know where we will stay when we come back to Rome. Silvia & John

I stayed here for 28 nights from 16MAR-13APR2021 and will say this hotel has its pros and cons. The best part of my stay was the housekeeping. It's possibly the best housekeeping I've ever experienced. They kept the room absolutely spotless every day I was there. Very impressive. The staff were all professional and friendly. My room was larger than the average Roman hotel room. The bathroom was very luxurious. The bed was comfortable. The decor in the room and whole hotel were very high-class. The air conditioning was very strong and much appreciated. The room did not have very many electric plugs. The television was hilariously small and very hard to see from the bed. The shower temperature fluctuated constantly in the evenings but was more stable in the mornings. Thy gym is so bad, they would be better off not having a gym. The one treadmill was broken the whole time I was there and there is only one pair of dumbbells. Also, there is no WiFi in the gym. It's a good hotel to stay for one short night if you get a good price, but I can't stay there again with the lack of a functioning gym.

The hotel was amazing. Its is a mini museum in and of itself. We arrived as part of a pre-cruise trip and wanted to sight see, and rest after our flight. Unfortunately, as I was unloading from our ride over, I was "bumped" and had my cell phone lifted from my back pocket. Although I was able to delete my cell of all its data, so to went all of my trip details. Hearing this, the hotel staff went above and beyond in helping me replan my three days in Rome, ensuring my dining reservations were in order and side trips were successful. The concierge made dining reservations for our last night, but upon hearing of a taxi strike starting that day, made sure the hotel limo service was available at no cost to take my family and retrieve us from our amazing dinner. This hotel is an amazing place, located in an elegant area, staffed with professional and caring people.. thank you Grand hotel!!

Second stay in this hotel and did not disappoint at all - rooms are super clean, beds are comfortable and the customer service is excellent. Breakfast is very very good. The location is one of the best in Rome - 5 minutes walk to Spanish steps. As I am a smoker I always need a room with balcony or terrace - for this hotel if you choose executive deluxe type - you are guaranteed the room with terrace - not like in other hotels where they always reply - yes, some rooms have balcony or terrace, but is always subject to availability. The only negative I could say, well, not really negative, but more of the need - I would strongly suggest to add coffee machines in the rooms as for early wakers like me - I always want to have a coffee when I wake up. Thanks and I am coming back soon

I stayed here for business for a few nights, just before lockdown happened! My room was clean and spacious! I loved the bathroom, especially the shower. I only used the restaurant for breakfast which was fast, tasty and efficient. All the staff I came across were helpful and friendly, and indeed, if back in Rome again one day I'd definitely go and stay again.
