The Hotel is ideally located; it is close to many historic landmarks which are at a walking distance of 5 mins to 15mins. It is well connected to the main city and also has many restaurants around the area including one from the Hotel itself.... The rooms are spacious and the staff at the front desk is friendly and helpful.... More

This was our first time in Rome. The hotel was easy enough to find from Termini. On your approach, the hotel certainly looks the part. Inside, the layout is simple; a small lobby with bar off to the left as you walk in. A point to note; the lift is on the small side and a little slow. We were... More

My very first trip to Italy and our first night was spent at this glorious hotel located in the beautiful Via Vittorio Veneto opposite the US Embassy. Given our serious jet lag after 24 hours spent in planes from Australia, I'm so glad I booked the room with a double balcony. It was amazing to walk outside and get some... More

I loved the grandness of the main room downstairs. There is a beautiful marble staircase the we used daily instead of the lifts. The room was very nice. We also enjoyed the breakfasts....you will like staying here!

We stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was our first time in Rome so it took us a day or two to get our bearings but the hotel is within walking distance of a number of attractions, with the Metro station a few minutes walk also. This was my first experience with Boscolo as Marriott Gold. The real Marriott also on Via Vittorio Veneto was booked solid, so I chanced on this partner property - listed as 5 stars. Hotel location, staff, morning spread and service were great. However, I am 6'2" and the rooms on the seventh floor would be considered awkward for a hobbit.... More

The room was comfortable and attractive with a good modern bathroom, but the great joy was the balcony, looking across the street to the beautiful embassy buildings, with bright jacaranda flowers , a lovely place to sit and relax in the evening. The 1930s frescoes in the dining room were great.

We just spent 3 nights at the Grand Hotel Palace in Rome. We travelled from Australia with our 2 children aged 21 + 16. My only real complaint about the hotel was the size of the room. Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
