This is a nice hotel. Clean. Quiet. Spacious. CO Bigelow amenities and friendly stall (although they were a little bit not so well updated with all touristic options in town...but it is Italy after-all). Breakfast is delicious. Metro station is in the corner. Train station just 5 minutes walk and almost "inside" the Villa Borguese, a beautiful Public Park in...

Grand Hotel Palace is a beautiful hotel in a central location, very close to major attractions, but it is the staff I particularly want to compliment. In what could only be described as difficult circumstances Guest Assistants Giada and Paolo were very compassionate and helpful. They made every effort to assist me and I will always be grateful to them...

My husband and I stayed 1 night at Grand Hotel Palace. Staff was very friendly, hotel is located within easy walking distance to all touristic sites. Room was very large, with very nice bathroom. Wi-fi wasn't working, reason we were given is that hotel was full.

The hotel check in process can be slow especially if your rooms are not ready on time. Breakfast comes at an additional charge but its decent. Rooms feel a bit small but have nice views and they are quite clean, Location is fantastic as you are in the middle of most major attractions.

Spent 5 days at the hotel. First impressions, the hotel entrance was uninviting and soulless. The bar was closed on 2 evenings due to functions, unfortunately they only had one bar. The positives, receptionist were very helpful, the concierge gentleman was excellent. The breakfast was disappointing, however, all the staff in the breakfast area were first class. The room although...

Visited and stayed for 3 nights from 2 December with my husband for his birthday. On arrival we were greeted outside by a charming doorman and his colleague who kindly carried our bags up to our room. The check in process with the receptionist was ok but her manner was not as warm as the doorman and she seemed somewhat...

We stayed in Grand hotel for three nights (4 days) , starting from the staff at the entrance to the breakfast restaurant , people were extremely helpful, welcoming, and greeting us so well. First, let me start with check in... "welcome, we have been expecting you..." was so wonderfully refreshing. Then, we checked in when we arrived in the morning, the wait for our room was minimal. I´ve stayed many times at the Palace Hotel. The staff is super friendly, rooms are nice and the location of the hotel is fantastic. It is in the heart of Rome. So walking around Rome is easy and major attractions are very close. A perfect place to discover Rome.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
