We stayed with our two children for two nights and booked a single room (a late booking). Normally, we'd expect it to be a little cramped, but we were provided with a corner suite which was spacious and well appointed. We also had a balcony which was great. Bathroom was very good, our experience of Italian bathrooms hasn't been brilliant...

We stayed at The Duke Hotel in Rome for a three day weekend. Hotel Stars in Italy are very often difficult to understand by the well traveled person I think I am ... But the Duke is a 4 star hotel. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The room we had (412) was cosy (though a big person could have...

Stayed at the Duke Hotel for 2 nights in May although it should have been for three nights. On arrival we were informed that they had overbooked 7 rooms and moved us to another hotel which was nowhere near the same standard. We were extremely cross to and disappointed to say the least. Thank god for British Airways who we...

We were quiet suprised when arriving at the hotel to find that it was located in a very quiet part of rome. However having understood the area we were i could not ask to be in a better location. There is a great sense of security and safety in the area and you are surrounded by the local people which...

Wow!! A little further outside the hustle and bustle that is Rome, but so worth it. They have a shuttle bus that runs many trips all day and well into the evening to the city centre. It is spotless and the concierge, dining staff, everyone so helpful and kind. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is a little way out of the centre of Rome. We enjoyed the walk through the park back to the hotel. If you use the courtesy bus it is necessary to book in advance. The hotel was peaceful after a day sight seeing. The staff were very helpful. They were very apologetic after the mix up over the...

It was nice, clean, quiet, nice sized rooms and really nice breakfast buffet. It's bit out of the center, but they have shuttle service running about every 30min, which is quite handy. Price was quite avarage in Rome standards.

My husband and I decided to stay at this hotel for three nights after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor and then getting a very good deal with Last Minute.Com. and we were not disappointed in any way. All the staff, especially the General Manager were extremely helpful and dealt with us in a prompt and efficient manner. We had a...

Lovely up market hotel, with great service and attention to detail. Stayed 3 nights. They let us check out late the last day. Room and bathroom were very nice! Really nice food and breakfast choice. Although out of town they have a regular shuttle that drops you off right next to the metro. Make sure you book in advance for...

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
