this middle size hotel was situated in a residentail quiet district but ran an excellent shuttle vehicle (6 person and bookable at the reception) into the centre of Rome to the Piazza del popolil. the staff were knowledgeable and all spoke english. the bedroom was large and comfortable - slightly old-fashoined but I like that. The lounges were comfortable and... More

What a nice hotel. Great service all round, quiet, clean and comfortable. Shuttle service every 30 mins to Piazza Popollo is a fantastic added bonus for guests. Most enjoyable stay for 3 nights. Free cocktails in the evening before dinner too. Shame that the Wi-Fi needed to log-in after 10 mins of inactivity...

Stayed for 4 nights in November 2014, on a bed and breakfast basis. Fantastic hotel, a little out of the way, there is a free shuttle bus. Breakfast was special, plenty of choice, beautiful silver place settings. The cocktails made by fabric in the polo lounge were amazing! Fantastic, attentive staff,

The hotel was wonderful, staff were friendly, courteous and very professional. Their knowledge of Rome and how to get about certainly helped. The rooms were well appointed and very clean and spotless with free wi-fi. The free shuttle proved very useful as the hotel was slightly further out of the city centre than on previous visits, but dropped of adjacent... More

The Duke Hotel is a little out of the way but the hotel offer a free shuttle bus service straight to Piazza del Popolo which is right next to Flaminio station (the A line on the metro) from here you can access all that Rome has to offer. We chose to walk from the Hotel to Flaminio station, which took... More

Couldn't fault this hotel. The staff on arrival were very helpful and informative about where to go to see the many sights, free shuttle bus every half hour into the centre and returns till late into evening. The room was spacious, massive bed, double sink in bathroom, very clean. Buffet breakfast had plenty of choice from fruit, cereals, continental style,... More

This 3 day trip was a Christmas present from our Daughter and it couldn't have been more perfect. From the minute we entered the hotel we were treated like VIPs and this continued until we reluctantly dragged our feet through the door into the taxi to the airport. Our room was perfect, huge bed, sitting area, balcony and luxurious bathroom.... More

This trip to Rome was booked by my boyfriend as a birthday present, and was booked on secret escapes. The hotel was brilliant, and it was so nice to stay just that little bit further out from the hustle and bustle of the main city. The shuttle was fantastic, however i would recommend to plan out the few days ahead... More

Stayed here for three nights. The room was very clean and the location very quiet. Slept very well. The included breakfast was very substantial. Staff here are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. Thoroughly recommended.

Stayed there with hubby and our 1 year old bambino. Service was amazing, friendly and very helpful. Room was large enough for toddler to run around. we got offered the cot on our arrival which we decided not to have simply due to having this amazing large bed where we all had lots of space for a good sleep. Breakfast... More

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
