My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in June 2016. The Location of this hotel is fantastic, we walked to all major sights with no problems. The hotel was lovely, the rooms were clean and the staff were extremely helpful. We had breakfast at the hotel every morning the food was lovely and there was so much to... More

My daughter and I just returned from our European vacation. We spent our first night at the Amalfi hotel. It was a clean hotel, our room was quiet, small but manageable. The shower was fine and everything worked well. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was just enough. I would stay here again and appreciate the... More

This hotel was an easy walk from Termini station. The accommodations were lovely. Our favorite thing was the service of the staff. They were kind and went above and beyond. For example, we had to leave early in the morning before breakfast was served. We let them know the night before and they had sack breakfasts waiting for us when... More

My wife and I have just returned from a trip to Rome and the Amalfi Coast. We stayed here for three nights. I had wanted to book a four star hotel but this hotel was strongly recommended by the tour company and I am very grateful that I took their advice. It is very centrally located for the Colosseum, main... More

As the owner has stated previously this is an old building not a purpose built hotel. There are therefore obvious constraints that they have had to work within. The rooms aren't very large. The breakfast room can get busy for the same reason and the lift is tiny although for a hotel of this size to have one at all... More

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel which is situated very centrally 5 mins walk from the Rome central station. One of the top basilica Santa Maria Maggiore is just in front of the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel is very good. There are quite a few restaurants around the place. I would love to go back to the hotel when... More

Went on a trip to France and Italy in June/July 2016, stayed in 4 hotels in France and 2 in Italy. Of all 6, this was the worst one. Yes, the location is ok but everything else is pretty bad. First of all, the beds are plain awful and pillows not much better - I slept badly which ruined my... More

Lovely little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Quite small but has everything you would need for a lovely City break in Rome. Set upon the top of a street filled with lovely little restaurants, bars and shops with the Coliseum being less than a ten minute stroll away. Not far from other tourist attractions with most places reachable... More

Stayed for four nights in June, the hotel is in a great location, near the train station and within walking distance of all of rome's main attractions. Very friendly staff, the rooms are compact but have everything you need. Breakfast was good, a good range but the coffee machine was a pain, didn't matter which button you press, it would... More

After a cruise, we stayed three nights at the Amalfi Hotel and we could not have been happier! We had booked an Airbnb but when we arrived there, we discovered that it did not have A/C. (Do NOT make the mistake of staying in Rome without A/C- it is HOT!) So, we cancelled the Airbnb and found the Amalfi Hotel.... More

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
