Chose this hotel for its position and reviews and we were not disappointed. Our room was absolutely spotless, bed comfortable, the airconditioning was quiet and efficient and the bathroom was a lovely size and included a bath which was a bonus! The owner and staff were all lovely, would take time to chat. Through sheer technical incompetence on my part... More

A charming hotel close to the termini station and all major attractions. The rooms although small were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate with a choice of continental or scrambled eggs. Staff at all times were pleasant and very helpful with information and recommendations on things to see. We had a lovely time in Rome and were really pleased... More

This was my second visit to the Amalfi hotel, and again our visit was memorable, we stayed for 4 nights. The Amalfi is a well run family hotel, and the staff are always helpful in every way, they arranged our taxi, and gave advice when required. Our room/bathroom was very comfortable, and a good size with a settee, which surprised us.... More

The owners and staff treat you like family. Helpful in every way. Breakfast was awesome, great way to start the day hiking around Rome. Room(s) we stayed in were clean and bright, loved the charm this hotel has. Well located, lots of things close by, Termini station 10 minute walk away. We cannot wait to come back again!

Hotel clean, friendly and decent breakfast. Room typical old town centre, small but everything you need and we had a front top floor overlooking the Bascilica, marvelous and no... More

We stayed for a week based on Expedia ratings and reviews, and we'd stay again. Although the rooms are small (it is Rome, after all), the location is terrific: a 5-minute walk to Termini Station and close to lots of restaurants. Staff was attentive, helpful, and genuinely interested in our stay. Consulting them each evening became a quick habit and... More

I stayed at Amalfi Hotel for 2 nights at the end of a European tour. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. I was a single traveler and ended up in a lovely room with a queen bed and plenty of space. The breakfast is amazing, can't give enough praise here. Fantastic location, easy walking distance to everything, and Termini... More

Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt.
