Wi-fi was disappointing - my room was supposed to have wifi, but it only worked (sporadically) from the lobby. The location near via Veneto and the rooftop bar was worth a visit. Area restaurants are quite good. Good comfortable room. Clean and hospitable english-speaking service. Excellent breakfast, lots of choices and room to be comfortable.

We have only been home a few days from this lovely hotel. We had a great time in Rome and staying in this hotel was just perfect. We throughly enjoyed the breakfast of a morning, our room was on the 5th floor, room 518. It was a good size with a nice size bathroom. We had a balcony which was... More

We stayed for 7 nights with our friends. Lovely hotel with friendly staff and great location. Ate on the roof garden one night and also had drinks on the roof bar. Good choice for breakfast including lots of fresh fruit - self service but kept well replenished by staff. Would recommend.

My husband I stayed here for four nights. The pros: The hotel itself is quite lovely. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and equipped with air conditioning. The breakfast is pretty good. House keeping was on top of it - our room was cleaned the sheets changed, and the towels replaced by the time we returned from breakfast. The cons:... More

This was day 20-24 in Europe and Hotel Victoria had the rudist and most unhelpful person I have met in all of Europe "Chef Massimo", I guess he's in charge of the front desk. Rooms and hotel are nice, but Internet is horrible if not in the lobby or bar. Have to stand in the hall to us the WiFi.... More

Centrally located with a great roof terrace bar. Rooms not the best but better than a lot in central rome. The Victoria is the usual hotel I stay in in Rome and I continue to book as it's reasonably priced, good location and has quiet rooms.

We arrived in Rome Fiumicino from Barcelona, took the train in, and QUICKLY navigated Termini, because we KNEW that to linger there longer than necessary is risky, and met our driver who took us to the Victoria. What a BEAUTIFUL hotel! Perfectly appointed, perfect location, easy access to ALL the main tourist areas, and within walking distance to the Piazza... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
