I went to Rome on business for six nights in November 2016. I fell in love with the city and would return in a heartbeat. Because everything was new to me and I had no expectations, the visit was full of surprises. Thankfully, the Hotel Savoy was a pleasant one. After a red-eye flight from the U.S., I arrived very...

Hotel Savoy was located in the perfect neighborhood. Close to everything, yet felt like you weren't in the bustle of a city. You can walk anywhere from this location including easy walking to the top of the Spanish Steps. Close to Barberini and Spagna metro station so getting around to parts of the city were convenient. Staff were friendly and...

The location of Savoy Hotel is superb! From there you can go by foot pretty much everywhere (of course if you enjoy reasonable walking). Area is very quiet and chic. The hotel is boutique type – cozy, charming and neat. The stuff is friendly. We were family of three and stayed in very comfortable triple room with great bed and...

Boutique hotel in a nice area of Rome where you don't constantly see graffiti on buildings. Located on a street across from the US Embassy. Villa Borghese is a few minutes away and its a 10-12 minutes walk from the Spanish Steps. Hotel rooms are decent size but staff not all that friendly. Breakfast area extremely crowded when we went...

This place looks spectacular from the outside and reception are lovely. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. They use a device called "Handy" which can be used for phone calls, internet and as a GPS outside the hotel. It is full of ad's which light up and make noise at 3 in the morning. In our room we...

--- Excellent, great experience. The staff was always polite and the rooms are amazing. Location it's...

We stayed at the Savoy for 3 nights. Our arrival check in was a bit chaotic but that was because we arrived as many were checking out. The staff was very accomodating and very nice making sure we were satisified with everything. Staff was extrememly helpful with navigating through Rome. Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
