Me and my girlfriend stayed at this Hotel during a short trip to Rome. The location is perfect, near the spanish stairs and the Metro station. And especially the receptionist, Andrea, was a great guy. Without us having to ask, he gave us really great hints, where to go to eat

A few minutes walk from the hotel there is a Metro stop called Barberini. It will take you to both The Colloseum and the Vatican (different directions). You pay 2 Euro for a ticket each time you travel which is great value. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and we found them surprisingly cheap for Rome City Centre. Hotel is very good at recommending places to eat, so don't hesitate to ask them as they will point out where's best for the days you are there. By the way, don't miss the hotel rooftop bar. Not expensive and glorious views. Have fun!

Hi there! City tax is 6€ per person per night; children under 10 are exempted. We apologize for all those travel agents that do not mention it clearly!

Hello Carol! There are several hairdressers and beauticians in our neighbour, you'll have the choice! Depending on your travel dates some could maybe be closed for summer holidays, so please do not forget to advice your needs in advance emailing our concierge. Looking forward to welcoming you in August! Hotel Savoy Roma

Our transfer to the airport was pre-arranged through Holland America. I am sure it was not cheap; when arriving at the airport we were escorted through ticketing, to baggage and all the way to security! Very comfortable and reassuring for those not familiar with this airport. I don’t even want to know what it cost. But would do it again.
