Great hotel to stay in Rome as it is walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon and the city centre. Even the Colosseum was only a 20 minute walk which is nothing for a city like Rome. The hotel is in a very nice locality which feels safe even at nighttime. The staff were simply superb and were happy...

We booked 2 rooms for our family with children and were pleased with the convenient location to sites, restaurants, gardens and shopping. Nice and helpful staff and tasteful decor throughout the hotel. Great views from the roof top lounge, the restaurant also serves dinner.

We booked the Hotel Savoy through Citalia and it exceeded expectations. It is a classic building with a beautiful Italian interior in a splendid location. We had a room at the rear and although there was some noise early morning this actually added to the experience of being in the midst of a fascinating blend of ancient and modern. The...

Impressive building, staff are very attentive, clean throughout and breakfast is varied. About an eight minute walk to nearest metro. Pleasant surrounding area with many eateries within walking distance. Central to all attractions. Visited just before Christmas and the decor inside the hotel was stunning.

Fabulous Hotel near downtown. Birthday treat from my husband, and what a treat that was. The gentleman at the front desk, I believe his name is Andreas, was so friendly and beyond helpful. The hotel has a great ambience. We did not eat at the restaurant but we had cocktails on the stunning terrace. We were fortunate enough to stay...

My sister and I have just come back today from a 4 days trip in Rome. This is the first time I write a review but I believe this hotel deserves one! Looking at TripAdvisor before booking, we were worried about booking an hotel in Rome as many hotels seem old! Hotel Savoy is so so cleaned, the staff was...

A wonderful spot within walking distance to most tourist attractions, the staff couldn't be more helpful. The rooms are pristine and I'll be back for sure, situated in a great area with lovely local places to eat which won't rob you blind

Great location. The hotel has the potential to be of the highest standard with its grand entrance, building exterior and roof terrace. Sadly in my opinion it was just a bit tired in places. Some of the walls were noticeably marked and the lifts and corridors were quite dated. Staff helpful, plenty of options for breakfast and I couldn't fault...

Smart hotel in a beautiful old building but with modern facilities. Good sized rooms, everywhere very clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. Pretty good buffet breakfast, by Italian standards. Rooftop bar with views over Rome, towards the Vatican. Hotel close to the Spanish Steps and very close to the villa Borghese.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
