Fantastic four day visit to Rome was made even better by the staff and facilities at the Hotel Palladium Palace. Great central location, very clean rooms, great choice at breakfast. The hotel is situated near some splendid restaurants too! Will definitely return!

Quite disappointed by this hotel. We booked 4* as it was our son's 18th birthday. The hotel is very close to the train station. About 5 min walk. But is in a not so good area. Also it's definitely not 4*. The rooms were dated. The bathrooms old and grotty and my sons bed broke as soon as he sat... More

My wife and I stayed here for a 4 night break during a very hot mid-August. Very happy with our choice. The place is clean, well maintained and tastefully decorated and staff are friendly and accommodating. We had a standard, air conditioned, twin-room on the first floor which featured an ensuite featuring a powerful shower, the obligatory bidet (useful for... More

This place is pretty much your standard 4 star hotel in Italy. Staff were all friendly enough especially compared to many in the service sector in Italy. Room was spacious with good aircon. Again the old 2 single beds stuck together instead of a double bed. Really not the same but seems to be the standard in Italy. Shower was... More

Ideally located adjacent to Rome Central station. Friendly staff and numerous restaurants available nearby. Room and bathroom adequate for a stay for a few days. Will certainly recommend Palladium to friends visiting Roma.

Really loved the stay. The front desk folks were extremely nice. They even agreed to store our luggage for us for the day. The room was great with vintage decor. The breakfast in the morning was terrific- just for 8-10 euros we got fresh juices, fruits, and toast, and so much more- great variety. The location is fantastic- 5mins walk... More

I did not choose this hotel. It came as part of a package but it is brilliant! We arrived really late at night and the receptionist apologised for giving us a room with 3 single beds, but promised a change in the morning. Sure enough they moved our bags to a better room with balcony. The breakfasts included are great.... More

My husband and I stayed here and quite enjoyed it. The value was good for our needs. We didn't plan to spend a lot of time in the room. The room was small as was the bathroom. However, the staff was very helpful with recommendations for food, directions, etc. we enjoyed the rooftop garden for drinks before and after dinner.... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hotel's elegant interiors, attended to in their every detail and made precious by the courteous and professional ambience provided by its staff, make of the Hotel Palladium Palace one of the most successful 4 star hotels in Rome. A magnificent late 19th century edifice houses the hotel's interiors, with its (24 hr) reception adorned in classic noble wood furnishings coordinated with marble. The common areas in the Hotel Palladium Palace are embellished with sophisticated and refined details, such as findings of ancient fragments of marble friezes. The hotel's guests have access to the lobby and TV room, the bar (always open), and the breakfast hall with its American style buffet (serving sweet and savory offerings). The gym features a sauna, a rarity for a 4 star hotel in Rome, and an ideal choice for those who want to keep fit during their vacation or business trip in a hotel in Rome. The Hotel Palladium Palace's most spectacular feature is its rooftop, with a panoramic terrace on the last floor of the building, overlooking the rooftops and cupolas of Rome, where the hotel's guests can enjoy the privilege of having breakfast or spending relaxing moments in good company. ... more   less
