Room was excellent, quite large with a large ensuite and most amenities you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Bed was comfortable, staff very helpful and hotel had free wifi. Breakfast was included and was a good spread. Danilo and the rest of the staff were very helpful. The location is excellent. Close to Termini which we made use... More

Great location for an overnight stay and conviently located a short walk from the train station/rental cars. Off the beaten path from the main attractions, but very close to one of the four largest basilicas. Lots of little souvenir shops, quick food and snacks. Felt safe even though the area looks a little sketchy. Room was perfectly sized for what... More

Although this was not the nicest hotel, the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Especially Dan and Natalie. A lot of the furnishings were outdated, but it was clean and nice. The hotel was a block from the train station making it easy to get to anywhere in the city. Staff would help me with buses, schedules, give alternate suggestions,... More

Its what every 4 star hotel should be , rooms are spacious by Europe standards, bathrooms are neatly done, interiors are tasteful and a friendly staff. The hotel is very close to the city centre and its a nice starting point to explore Rome. Many tourist attractions are nearby. Breakfast was also good.

Being honest this hotel wasn't my first choice when looking for accommodation in Rome, however their low price for what was being offered was quite tempting and I took the risk after reading some reviews in here. The staff was very nice, from the concierge to the waitresses during breakfast. Despite being an aged hotel, everything was very clean and... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hotel's elegant interiors, attended to in their every detail and made precious by the courteous and professional ambience provided by its staff, make of the Hotel Palladium Palace one of the most successful 4 star hotels in Rome. A magnificent late 19th century edifice houses the hotel's interiors, with its (24 hr) reception adorned in classic noble wood furnishings coordinated with marble. The common areas in the Hotel Palladium Palace are embellished with sophisticated and refined details, such as findings of ancient fragments of marble friezes. The hotel's guests have access to the lobby and TV room, the bar (always open), and the breakfast hall with its American style buffet (serving sweet and savory offerings). The gym features a sauna, a rarity for a 4 star hotel in Rome, and an ideal choice for those who want to keep fit during their vacation or business trip in a hotel in Rome. The Hotel Palladium Palace's most spectacular feature is its rooftop, with a panoramic terrace on the last floor of the building, overlooking the rooftops and cupolas of Rome, where the hotel's guests can enjoy the privilege of having breakfast or spending relaxing moments in good company. ... more   less
