I won the trip to ROME to see Bruce Springstein, our Hotel was booked for us and i could not be happier. The hotel was in a great location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast we had each day was fantastic the staff were all lovely and very helpful. A special thankyou to Ruzel and Ace... More

As others have said, the hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the bus terminal but if you don't want to walk you can always get a cab or bus. The hotel is in a nice area with good restaurants very close. The room was quite small but comfortable and the bathroom excellent. The breakfast was good although we did... More

Good hotel with great staff! We had two rooms with a connecting door and passage. Decent sized rooms. Wifi was bad and could barely get a signal. AC walked well. What made the stay most enjoyable was the friendly staff, the pizzeria right across and the gelateria down the street! The staff was so helpful that they specially bought soy... More

Overall this hotel was good but its location is a bit out of the way - a solid ten minutes from the Metro which can be a bit of a distance after a long day of walking. The small elevator capacity is a real challenge at peak periods so allow plenty of time. Our room was smallish but worked fine.... More

Overall not a bad place to stay. It is a walk from the main attractions but bus and metro lines are very close- personally I would rather escape those huge masses of people at the end of the day for some R&R at my hotel. I read reviews about this hotel and the Room is small but who goes to... More

Rooms are very cozy and tiny. Ours was not very clean, contacts left from previous people on night stand. Most the staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were hot, no air conditioning and streets are very noisy when windows are open. They only provide soap. They do have a hairdryer which was nice. The breakfast was very good and... More

Hotel Gambrinus is located in a fairly quiet street away from the extremely busy city centre. The nearest Metro is about 5-10 minutes' walk away and we were told by the hotel staff that we could also pick up a bus from across the road, although we didn't use them. The hotel itself is small and we had an economy... More

Stayed here with my partner for a 3 night short City break, it had everything I look for in a room, clean bed, clean/functioning shower, good location and breakfast. It took us about 15-20 minutes to get to the hotel on foot from the central train/bus station (termini). The hotel has personality and so do the staff, who were all... More
