We arranged with the hotel manager, Marco, to be collected from the airport when we arrived; 40 minutes later the taxi still did not show up which meant he forgot to order it for us. We never received an apology. Then, when we arrived at roughly 9pm, the only member of staff (Charlotte) seemed eager to go home and surprised... More

Very nice place to stay, easy to get to all the main attractions in Rome and we were told when we arrived what buses to get and given a detailed map. Plenty of food for breakfast wide variety and proper coffee machine, clean rooms and friendly staff. Would stay again :)

I visited Rome for the first time and i also decided for the first (and last) time to book a room on a Bed and Breakfast. This is my experience in details of the room: (+) The room was big, enough space for luggage and there was a nice closet for clothes. There was free Wi-Fi, the location was quiet,... More

We stayed at Ai 2 Papi for 4 nights during our trip to Italy. The accommodation was good, especially for Rome. The room we were allocated, which was one of four in total, was small but not inconvenient. A good sized bathroom and good storage space meant we could settle for our short stay and the internet connection was excellent.... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of our trip around italy. We really enjoyed our stay here - so much better than hotels as it feels like a home. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, the place was immaculately clean with a nice kitchen and courtyard, and great location near the Vatican. We caught... More

Just returned from a 5 night stay. Nice friendly staff, good location. Very modern and the room was nice and a good size for a couple. Would definately use this B & B again if we return to Rome. It is only a short walk to the vatican located is a nice quiet area.

I found this B&B on bookings.com and it seemed good for the money. On arriving in Rome it wasn't easy to find but I probably should have planned it better. The B&B is in a residential block behind the Vatican so is an ideal location and quite small so very quite. The only issue would be the steep hill you... More

Nice, quiet, clean, good breakfast. Owner Marco was always willing to help and giving nice tips. Jatta and Angela made us feel welcome. Breakfast in the garden! Bus 46 (not really fixed schedule) will bring you to the centre day and night. You can easily walk to the Vatican, or take bus 49.

“If you decide to stay ask for a room far from the kitchen and the entrance. We have been given the room right in front of the entrance and next to the kitchen and there was a noise of people entering and leaving as well as from people eating and talking in the kitchen. The room was not soundproof unfortunately.”
