We booked through a tour, so I don't know how much the hotel normally costs. It was a small but beautiful room. Everything was very clean, and there was a safe in the closet. The closets also locked, which was a nice touch. Housekeeping was in every day and was very pleasant. We were given robes upon arrival and a... More

The staff understands and speaks English so that is helpful. Our luggage was lost from Orly Airport to Fiumiccino and we had to constantly ask them for updates and also they gave us some toothbrush toiletries since we had none. Their front lobby is small, but as you walk towards the back there is a bar/restaurant on the right, a... More

My husband and I spent five nights here during our recent Roman honeymoon. At first, we were a bit disappointed by how far the hotel was from many of main Rome's tourist sites, but this ended up being a blessing in disguise. The walk to/from main areas like the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Spanish Steps was really enjoyable, and made... More

We are just back from a week at the Veneto Palace and couldn't be happier with our choice. The hotel is located in a very exclusive part of town with wide tree lined roads, beside the stunning Villa Borghese and world famous Via Veneto. It is surrounded by excellent restaurants and shops and is within an easy walk into town... More

My Husband and I stayed here in June. We were given a room at the top of the building which was fine. When we stepped into the lift the carpet and walls of the lift were filthy. We arrived into the room and the floor was filthy, the shelves on each side of the bed were hanging off the wall,... More

Nice but the rooms are very small. Our room was a triple and Very clean. Had great comforters on the beds and the air conditioning was so cold we had to turn it up! Good location and easy to get a cab if you don't want to walk. No complaints. Nice place to stay if you don't mind taking cabs... More

We booked through expedia and were very happy with the accomodation, the room was at the back with no view but with the temperatures outside at 30 celcius the shutters kept the room cool. This is a great location for exploring, 10 mins from Villa Borghese, and short walk from Repubblica or Barberini Metro stations, there is a bus stop... More

This was a fabulous hotel, very clean with excellent staff and service. I would recommend this hotel again. The room was a suitable size for 2 with a lovely bed and bathroom, the towels were charged daily, there was a hairdryer, fridge and safe. The tv was fine with English channels if you wanted it, our room was 404.

Could have been a good hotel but whoever renovated the rooms should have his backside kicked. They were so intent on making them look distinctive they forgot about functionality. Wasted space in the bedrooms and silly fixtures in the bathrooms ruined the warm fuzzy feelings for the décor. Otherwise an Ok place to stay. Everything else was Ok. Staff were... More

My husband and I were here for the first few nights of our honeymoon trip in Italy. The staff were all very courteous and the breakfast was terrific! The hotel overall is very quaint. Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
