The amenities of the hotel were well below expectations. The mattress was terribly hard, making it very difficult to sleep, even though we were really tired from the visit to such a lovely city. When we complained about the mattress, the staff clearly avoided to present any solution. Also, the shower is terribly small. We surely do not recommend this...

We stayed here 9 October 2016 thru 12 October 2016. Can't say enough good things about the hotel. Great room Great location that could not be anymore convenient to Termini without being inside Termini. All the trains, all the busses, both subway lines, and the HOHO busses were literally across the street. Many things are walkable But it is not...

Great location - central to the main train station, and not a long walk to food and coffee. Basic, but very clean, with good facilities. Room was small but comfortable enough for two people. The service was excellent.

Its not the newest, but it is clean, comfortable and in a great convenient location. Staff are friendly enough and can speak English well. Breakfast is OK, selection of bread, pastries, eggs (scrambled and boiled) and sausages, cold meat and some fruit.

This a "four star" hotel located near the termini. We were dumped here by the infamous Tika tour. The hotel is old but clean. The staff were helpful. The bed was like sleeping on plywood. The breakfast buffet was barely adequate---but the coffee was good. Taking a shower was a safety hazard---the shower was in a two foot wide bath...

This is an older property which is located steps away from the train station (Termini), the hop on hop off bus stop is very close, there are many little shops and stores around the hotel for your shopping needs, the staff are friendly and helpful, the room is very clean, the tv is limited to 2 English stations, the breakfast...

Spotlessly clean room!! Very convenient location due to the fact that is literally three steps away from the Termini station. The hotel itself is an average, rather aged building, our room on the fifth floor was spacious enough for two persons with a lot of baggage. The room closet is big, many mirrors and lots of lights, on the ceiling,...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
