+ Reception + Located + Comfortable + wifi + Breakfast + Price + Clean - nothing If you want a hotel that has a very good price - quality ratio, then I highly recommend staying in this comfortable hotel, which is next to Roma Termini.

Perfect location if you intend to use Rome Termini train station and it is only a short walk from the entrance/exit. This was key to us booking here and was handy for us in getting to and from the airport as well as visiting the city. We also visited the nearby Ostia Antica for ancient ruins and Lido for the... We visited here early July when Rome was at its busiest and hottest. The hotel was an easy 5 minute walk from Roma Terrmini.the hop on hop off buses were also a 5 minute walk. There were plenty of restaurants within a couple of minutes walk and a convenience store just along the road. The staff went out of their... More

This hotel is located very close to the train station, but is very clean with efficient professional service. The rooms are small, but nicely decorated. Staff is not overly friendly, but is helpful. Breakfast was the standard fare of machine coffees and pastries.

We only stayed for 2 nights on a short trip to Rome. The Gioberti was in a great location and the room comfortable with nice decor. You are able to open the window, which we loved so as to let in some fresh air and partake in the wonderful sounds of the streets below. The staff were pleasant and very... More

great hotel right near train station. Lovely spacious room with excellent bathroom. Helpful friendly staff and a comprehensive breakfast. The staff at breakfast could be a bit more friendly with maybe a greeting?

We spent 4 nights at the hotel just 5 minutes walk fromTermini railway station and Metro. Room was very clean and comfortable, the bed was firm but ok. Tea and coffee provided in room but no small cartons of milk. I drink black coffee and my wife drinks flavoured teas so that was no problem. My wife is coeliac so... More

The Hotel Gioberti, is in a very convenient spot right opposite the main train, metro and bus station, Termini, which is all in the one place. The room was a little small and if I returned I would book the larger room. Breakfast was excellent as all nationalities were catered for and the staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Gioberti, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was good and plentiful! The location is perfect for sightseeing, transport, dining, and shopping. The area can seem a little seedy at night but what major city doesn't? We always felt perfectly safe and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Gioberti is right across Roma termini which makes it a great location. One of the things I noticed is that when it says 4 star rating in Italy, assume it will be a 2 star elsewhere. At the very best they are comparable with an Econo Lodge in USA. Gioberti's service standards are not great, but it is clean, breakfast... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
