i stayed here just over a year ago, and have recommended it to friends to stay in since. the place has always stuck in my memory from the last year. nothing overly flash but its just a very pleasant place to be for the low price you pay well worth it.

The owner Andre was very helpful with any questions we had. The room was lovely and spacious and very clean. It's very central-within walking distance of things like the colosseum and 5-10 minute walk to the nearest train station Termini. Only (minor) downside was that there wasn't much choice for breakfast. Overall would highly recommend!

We booked the Mary Bell due to the good reviews it had been given and it's handy location. We were not disappointed! The B & B is excellent value for money. We paid 300 euros for 4 nights including city tax (equivalent to around £220 or £55 a night). The B & B was clean, with our room being very... More

I chose the Mary Bell because it's only a 10 minute walk from the Termini. So you can fly into Fiumicino and get the Leonardo Express (€14 each way) which only takes around 25 mins. The Mary Bell is very clean and Andrea (the owner) was very helpful. It has a communal fridge and facilities for tea/coffee and also has... More

Lovely large room with the comfiest (huge) king size bed plus two bunk beds and less than 300 euros for 3 nights for two of us. Even though the room was at the front, the triple glazing shut out the traffic noise. Andrea is delightful, and the coffee was delicious. Only about 10 minutes walk from the Colosseum and a... More

We were met by Andrea who instantly treated us like old friends. His local and unbiased knowledge was extremely impressive and helpful. He was able to recommend restaurants based upon the time of day, type of cuisine and price. He expertly marked these on a local map for us. The room was not huge but perfect for two with access... We arrived at this B&B in the evening, the manager was there to greet us. It was a warm 28 degree night, the manager suggested where we could get a meal, but we discovered a pub across the road opened till the early hours, always a good last stop before we retired at night. Our room was clean roomy and... More
