Went there for our anniversary , the hotel is actually in the centre of Rome. The rooms are not that spacious ( even though we got a suite and the breakfast was nothing special. The staff would not exactly go out of their way to help you or guide you. Next time I dont think I would pay again the...

Dear Guest Thank you for posting a review about your stay at The First. We are very sorry to learn that our boutique hotel did not meet your expectations. Besides the super central location, in the very heart of the city, the space available in our suites is within or above the average for the historical center of Rome, and...

Fabulous hotel, beautiful and classy with excellent service. Location is perfect. The family accommodations felt like our own little luxury apartment right in the middle of the best place in Rome. The food is also first class (one Micheline Star) and the terrace bar has amazing views of the city. Our 9 and 6 year old kids felt right at...

Our stay, arriving on June 16, 2015, consisted of 4 nights in a Junior Suite. The first and initial glimpse of the hotel was modern luxury boutique indeed. The smell of Aqua dell'Elba, when entering the lobby, electrified my senses. We were greeted by Daniel, who was quite charming, offered Prosecco (white wine), as we continued through the checkin process....

We've booked a double room and got a free upgrade to a Suite which was almost 3 times the price of the room category we initially booked! Outstanding friendliness and customer focus, with all kinds of recommendations and services that you can...

We stayed for a honeymoon week in September 2014. The hotel is well-suited to a walk-about holiday in Rome, being on a quiet side-street in an area with lots of restaurants and evening activities, without noise in the side-street itself. The reception and management staff couldn't be bettered, helpful, taking as much time as we needed to ask questions, giving...

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina.
