We spent 3 nights here last summer, the place is a bit hard to find and you have to wait to be buzzed into the building. It felt more like an Airbnb than a hotel, as there are only 7 rooms. The building itself dates back to the 19th century, and the elevator seemed like it did too, so I... More

I can never forget the first moment when my wife and I have entered the hotel, as we had to ring a bell at the ground floor then someone opened the gate to a very old building with an outdated lift, without knowing what to expect after that, the guy at the reception had a broken leg, but despite that... It was a simple, clean, nicely spacious place to stay for a 5 day visit. By using google maps and reading reviews, we found the main door okay (phoned before we got there to confirm our arrival time, and the buzzer labelled 'I Dormienti' was answered seconds after ringing it). When we got there, the man at reception didn't talk... More

We had a great stay at I Dormienti. The rooms are simple but nice and very tidy. The staff is really nice and helpful. The hotel is located in a nice street, near to a metro station and super central.

Please, please use trip advisor and look through all the reviews. Unfortunately due to a sudden change in our plans during our trip to Italy we had to book this place last min and didn't read through any reviews. This place classes itself as a hotel on booking.com, this is far from the truth, it is a hostel at best.... More

We travelled as a couple. Jewel, the owner was friendly and extremely helpful with great advice on where to visit when we arrived. The room was clean and tidy and we also had no problems with the Wifi or the air conditioning. The bed was made and the room tidied every day, even when we got up quite late. The... More

A family of four of us stayed there for four nights. We were a bit nervous after reading some of the Tripadvisor reviews but the two apartments were clean, the WiFi worked without a problem, the beds were comfortable and the bed linen was changed every day (and I had a feather quilt). We did not have any problems with... More

We made a mistake staying here for three nights. Although the price was quite good for two backpackers, this place played a big part of our bad experience in Rome. We didn't expect that much - a clean room, comfy bed and a working wi-fi to check out things to do in Rome, but sadly none of these things worked.... More

After a stressful trip to the hotel from the airport, there was a not-so-welcoming attendant to greet us. Albeit it was late, it was not great customer service. The room itself was fine, clean enough and comfortable, but the bathroom needed to good scrub. Being told on arrival that the "card machine is not working" and that we would have... More
