Nice, spacious single room, with a very big bed (for me), a clean restroom, clean lingeries. The room is very nice decorated, they have minibar, TV, seif and hair drier. I don't know if they have WIFI. You can easily reach all the main sites in Rome (Piazza Navona, Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo, Supreme Court ). Near is the bus stop,...

Basic room but as I wasn't intending on spending time in it it didn't matter! Clean, great shower, comfy bed, air conditioning & so close to everything (which is why I booked it, having been to Rome before). Booked as room only but several cafes & restaurants literally round the corner. Didn't see much of the staff as only there...

I stayed at la maison for three nights. It was hard to get to the place since directions in Rome are different from what expected, be sure to check before. Nonetheless, the service was excelent. Staff is great, expect good instructions and treatment from Ovidio and the other employees. if you are lucky being from latin america you also can...

Good value for money. The location is excellent. Piazza Cavour is a trendy neighbourhood with all the roman glitter and restaurants but away from the crowds of tourists. It is 10 minutes walk to the Vatican, Piazza Navona and really a bus ride (not more than 15 minutes) from the Coliseum. The rooms are small and basic but clean and...

I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. It's a guest house, which is apparently the norm for Italy. We were on the 3rd floor, so in the evening you had the big doors to get through, up the lift, through another set of doors and then to your room. We had a room looking onto the street, which was...

The hotel is in a grand building, we walked past it twice as it wasn't sign posted. The room is on a small side, and very basic (bed, chair, chested drawers and a shower room), no tea/coffee facility. But because you are in Rome, you have to have a proper coffee and that is not problem as there are cafe...

I went on a two-week trip to the Mediterranean last year. My roommate was the one who came up with the idea and apologized "profusely" that we were going to have to be in Italy on my birthday. I grinned at her and asked two things: 1) Could we go to the Vatican on my birthday? 2) Could I pick...

We've been really happy with the choice of the hotel. The building itself, the room and the atmosphere made us feel like real guests of Rome, not just tourists:) The location was perfect - close to all the touristic attractions but not that crowded with tourists. The area is safe, with good choice of cafes and restaurants around. The staff...

Outstanding location, so convenient. Very good value for money. Extremely helpful staff. And a rather lovely building. My only gripe would be the lack of signage - especially if you are dropped by the airport bus at the 'other entrance' not on Via Tacito.

My sister and I landed late at Fiumicino and were worried about getting to the city center, but the shuttle bus to the Maison de Marta was so easy and way cheaper than a taxi! We felt like we were in an Audrey Hepburn movie as we entered the hotel, with its old school charm. The staff were super nice...

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
