We were here for just 2 days but we had a really pleasant experience. We have been in Rome few times before and I can say that so far this was the best place to stay for a reasonable price. Location is in walking distances to all major attractions. It is situated in a good neighbourhood which makes you feel... More

Stayed here for 3 nights with my boyfriend, great location! Central to all attractions and close to local restaurants/metro station. Mario and his wife were so kind and helpful with our needs. The room was small but had high ceilings so didn't feel closed in. Very clean and comfortable and we slept great. Would definitely stay here again :)

I stayed here with my wife in June of 2016. This B&B is located very conveniently just a 5 min walk from Termini Station which is great if you plan to come from the airport or by train and you get the added bonus of using Termini as a central hub for the Metro. The B&B itself is in a... More

Let me start with the negative. This B&B is starting to show its age interior-vise. The isolation (sound proofing) isn't very good and the elevator to the fifth floor is rather small, but fits two/three people. However, none of that really matters, because what you get for the money is completely superb, all in all. Mario Fabio, who owns the... More

We have just stayed 4 nights at the b&b. First of all the location is great, the area very safe and (despite the impromptu street concert held last friday night) pretty quiet for central Rome. Mario took great care of us and is a very friendly bloke. He could not have been more helpful from the moment we arrived! Contrary... More

We booked the Agli Horti as a last minute holiday and read lots of positive reviews beforehand. The B&B is basically a converted flat in a beautiful old building with a bit of a sketchy lift! I agree that Mario was very friendly from start to finish, as was the breakfast lady. The location is great; it really is best to... More

So, you are in Rome. What do you need? Firstly a pleasant welcome, then a clean, spacious room, a comfy bed, breakfast, great and plentiful restaurants.....and most of all, somewhere that's convenient for visiting all the magnificent sites you have come to see. Well, you can do no better than staying here. Mario Fabio is an excellent, helpful, friendly host... More

Good points: location to everything in Rome. Very safe, clean and tidy. Heaps of cafes, restaurants, mini marts and chemist. Rome main train station, 15 min walk. Mario and Amanda were very friendly and helpful. No real downsides. Would stay again and we recommend it.

If you are looking for a hot bath, fluffy towels and room service...this is not the place for you. If however, you simply want an excellent central safe location, some great restaurants in walking distance a clean room and hot shower..then for the price in a capital city, this would take some beating. Mario could not be more helpful.

My sister and I are studying abroad in Paris, and just came back from a weekend trip to Rome. We really enjoyed our stay here! The owners are super friendly, and very helpful; got us settled into our room pretty quickly, gave us a map, and showed us the basics in our room and how to unlock all the main... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
