Check out the other reviews - "Marco and Serena Rock!", "Nice hotel with awesome hosts!", etc. We wholeheartedly agree... this is a GREAT hotel. Hotel Deko Rome is a small, nice 6 room guest house located on the Italian 2nd floor of a nondescript office building in central Rome, right next door to the U.S. Embassy. The lobby is small,... Deko Rome was a great way to start our Italian vacation! It's definitely not a big hotel in any means so it's unmarked and you can miss it easily. The location is close enough to all of the major sites. We felt very safe in the area. We got in a bit late but Marco was right there waiting for... More

It's a small hotel with 6 rooms but very well maintained. The hosts are very friendly and they provided the list of tourist spots. location is very easy to remember as it is near US embassy.rooms are big enough with all amenities

My wife and I (30 years old) stayed here for 3 nights in Rome and absolutely loved it. We received a welcome email after booking and they will help you out with transportation and give lots of good recommendations for places to visit in Rome and great restaurants. Full Breakfast is included every morning with coffee to help get your... More

The Deko Rome was a wonderful place. Only six rooms in a nice neighborhood across from the U.S. Embassy. Convenient location to get to all of the great sites of the city. The staff was exceptional. Friendly and helpful. They were like family for the four days of our stay. Breakfast was hand-prepared every morning. Freshly brewed expresso and cappuccino.... More

Deko is just a small boutique hotel with 6 rooms but it's really very good. The owners, Marco and Serena are very hands on and they would really take time to orient you to Rome, explain the map, book you a taxi and see to your needs. It feels like staying in a close friend's house and getting a very... More

This wonderful little hotel was perfect in every way. Marco, Serena, and the rest of the team are absolutely wonderful. Besides a very nice room and pleasant breakfast, Marco provided the best restaurant recommendations that were spot on and made for a exceptional trip to Rome. I cannot say enough about this hotel and I look forward to visiting the... More

A quick stop over. Stayed here before and had a great time again. Marco and Serena were fabulous hosts and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Great location. They recommended a lovely restaurant that serves traditional Italian food. Highly recommended.

Fantastic hotel with incredible hosts. Marco and Serena could not of done more for us which made everything so easy. From the minute we booked they were assisting us via email, when we arrived this did not change - restaurant recommendations, areas to visit, booking tours they could not have done more to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We... More

Amazing room with much more amazing people! We had a great time as our friends were married and booked us to this beautiful place! Everyone was so helpful and even though we spent such a little time at the room because all day we were with the married couple to be whenever we asked for informations or anything their response... Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
