Spent 2 nights here the first of September. Easy 15 minute walk from Roma Termini. A little funky getting up to 3rd floor where reception was located, small elevator if you need it. Staff was friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English. Rooms not large, but clean, comfortable and quiet. Nice amenities are the common area off the reception area... More

- The hotel coordinated a taxi for us and sent us to the wrong airport, overcharged us, and made us miss our flight - For your own sake avoid this hotel - Insects found in room - Our room smelled like a mix of indian/chinese food

Its hard to find the door to the hotel as it is only rooms within a building shared by many businesses. They have a camera at the door on the street and buzz you in. To get to the hotel desk, you need to drag your suitcase up a few stairs here and there. The elevator only fits two persons... More

A last minute booking when I got stuck in Rome for the evening....in the height of tourist season I was able to book this place at 9pm.... The Good: location is OK and the staff friendly. The Bad: my single had a micro twin bed (which I suppose was good because its small size allowed me to get to the... More

Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, location was excellent, we walked to the Colliseum, Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. We loved the rooftop terrace too (although it can be a little tricky finding your way back)! Several reasonably priced restaurants on the same block too!

We have stayed here both times we have visited Rome THE STAFF HAS BEEN WONDERFUL TO US, THE PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE, and it is within walking distance of the Colosseum, the Forum, the Trevi Fountain, well, pretty much all of Rome.

Some friends and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, and were very happy with the overall experience. At first we were unsure about being at the right location, as there is just a small sign outside and once you are inside it simply looks like a block of flats, so we thought that we were at the wrong... Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
