The hotel was very close to the main attractions and Termini station. The room was very clean and comfortable as well. And the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was a great place to stay on a solo trip.

Clean hotel, well located for transport and local restaurants/ shops. Close to Manzoni Metro Station. Pleasant and helpful staff. Continental breakfast with coffee freshly brewed. Room basic but clean.

Stayed her for 3 nights in February in a twin room. The one major downside is it is not ideal for those with disabilities or are less mobile as there are steps down into reception and then up to the top floor as the lift only goes up to the 2nd floor. The room we were given wasn't huge but...

A small hotel but in such a great location, a 5 minute walk from the nearest metro and tram which will then take you anywhere you want to go on Rome. The rooms although small are spotless and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a continental style and the coffees are strong but nice, the pastries...

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a typical continental however plenty of choice including cold meats and pastries. Good location as close to the metro station with links to the major sights. Overall an excellent experience, good value for money and would recommend as a perfect base for exploring Rome.

Really liked the location as far as public transport goes. Close to subway, main train station and buses. Taxi from station only 10 euros!! The staff were really friendly and helpful. We stayed for about 5 days. Limited range of places to eat for dinner, didn't manage to get to the hotel restaurant for lunch ( shame it is not open...

This hotel is ok for its price. Very near metro station Manzoni. Rather small rooms but clean and ok. Breakfast is also ok. Wifi was excellent for multiple users. The only disadvantage was the leaking airco (wood from the closet became wet) and the thin walls (noise other guests and dog from neighbour). Very friendly and helpful staff!

A nice hotel, very clean. Staff was really pleasant. The terrace is lovely. It's a bit far from the train station but you can catch a subway and it'll get you pretty near to the hotel. Rooms were small but comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. Location was a bit far from main attractions in Rome, but close enough to the...

We booked this hotel through an agency and it was great, better than expected. A bit off the beaten path as they say but very nice. They had all commodities and more: working hair dryer in the bathroom, AC, blinders (love them), good mattress, nice water pressure and 24/7 hot water in shower and almost daily room cleaning. Mini bar...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
