Perhaps I should have done my homework before allowing my travel agent to book this place. The room is tiny, the beds are very old, can feel the springs in the mattress. 30 degrees in Rome and the aircon does not work. No curtains on the window. Room 111 seems to be above the restaurants kitchen below and the extractor... More

We went to this hotel on recommendation from 3 other couples who have all stayed here mainly because of the location. It's in easy walking distance to all of the main attractions and sites - whilst being just far enough away from the crowds - night and day. Easy walk to the main shopping street Via Del Corso - and... More

The lift is small, 2 people and their suitcase each and it's full. But it does the job and reception service is great topped off with free snacks they provide to all guests. Perfect when you arrive close to midnight. We were upgraded to a triple sized room which is actually a decent sized twin. Would have been squashed if... More

Very good location in Vatican with a lovely restaurant around ( Di Gusto 30 seconds walk from the hotel ) , close to major famous places. The hotel is very good service, polite, helpful and friendly staffs. Room service didn't leave milk for tea a couple of time but when phoning reception for a few minutes later they were at... More

The staff are exceptionally warm and friendly, very helpful. Really, as good or better as any concierge I've dealt with. If one wanted to, it wouldn't be necessary to eat anywhere else! The breakfast is bountiful with great variety, all day there is coffee, tea and pastries provided, and then at "happy hour" in the evening there is another large... More

The staff were friendly at this hotel and welcoming, but I was not pleased to be in the annex , which was situated along the street from the main hotel. This arrangement made us feel that we were really only renting a room rather than staying in a hotel and enjoying all that it should offer. The beds were not... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights recently, and after finding the hotel, had to search around for the reception not realising that it was on the 1st floor! Reception staff were very helpful and extremely friendly! We would love to thank Georgia, who is studying to become an interpreter, and genuinely seemed happy to see us every time we... More

Very nice staff who were helpful and accommodating, the hotel itself is in a great location with ample transport and lots of attractions within walking distance including Vatican City and it's reasonably priced (Watch out for the city tax though). I had emailed ahead of time to request we get a nice room as the trip was a bit special... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.

It is set in one of the best districts of the Eternal City and is just few minutes walking from many important touristic attractions, such as Castel Sant'Angelo, St. Peter's Basilica and the Spanish Steps.
