Just back from 4 nights at the Mellini. A/C a little bit on the hot side and hairdryer was useless. Lets get that out of the way. The staff on reception were exceptional the lovely Roberta, Francesca and sorry the other lady who spoke to us every day however we didn't ask her name. They help us get the trip we wanted after the tour we booked cancelled. Breakfast was adequate always something you could eat and served by the lovely Alexandro. Hotel in a great Location for the main attractions a few restaurants near by if you don't want to venture far at night. Due to Covid the hotel bar was closed but you could get a free beer and a snack at reception. Mini bar was expensive little shop down the road if you need any refreshment. Our Room was at the front of the hotel and was very quiet. We arrived early and room was ready for us. Hotel was very clean and Covid prepared. Would not hesitate to stay her again due to the great staff.…
We stayed here for 2 nights for a quick city break to Rome. This hotel is in the perfect location as it is easy to get to all of the sights you want to either by foot or public transport. The staff were very welcoming and the rooms were beautiful. We particularly enjoyed the gym and the outdoor space on the sixth floor as this was a great way to relax. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely plan to visit again soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
My third time in Rome and by far the best hotel I have stayed at. Louisa was so welcoming on checkin. The breakfast was very nice and catered for us both. The following day a lady named Roberta was genuinely wonderful on reception. Our room was great! Comfy beds and clean towels, we also had a small balcony which was lovely. Upon check out we left at 3am and the gentleman on reception waited outside with us for the taxi which was a nice touch being two girls on our own. The location was great, would definitely recommend and would return. Thanks again.
Recently visited for my wife’s birthday and anniversary post-lockdown from the UK. We were initially given a room with an internal view from the window. The kind member of staff on reception quickly found us another room with an outside view without any extra charge. When we returned from walking around beautiful Rome on my wife’s birthday they left a bottle of Spumante on ice in the room - so kind! And all the time we stayed there the staff couldn’t do enough for us. It’s also in a great neighbourhood - lots of nice restaurants close by but out of the main touristy parts. You can still walk and be in both the main part of town and the Vatican within about 20 mins either way. Loved Rome, and very much appreciated all the staff kindness at this hotel. Grazie Mille!
Having stayed in this hotel previously my expectations were already high but it was brilliant to be back and the staff could not have made me more welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and specific thanks must go to Roberta for going the extra mile to make the trip even more special. The only area where the hotel could be improved is the air-conditioning that didn't cool the room down as I'd have liked.
