We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it was our first trip to Rome. The location is amazing and well connected with a metro station very close by. The staff in the hotel were so friendly and helpful, especially Joseph. They give great tourist advice and restaurant recommendations. The room was ok- fairly standard with a tiny bathroom.... More

The staff are friendly, thats a huge plus for Rome as i dont find customer service to be a thing here in Rome. They are also helpful when looking for things to do and what not. I dont know why this site says free breakfast because it's not...the breakfast is typical 3 star quality so don't expect some lush breakfast... More

This Grand old dame is on a beautiful tree lined street with cabs whizzing by every 30 seconds. It is down the hill from Harry's which is still the watering hole for the rich and famous as it was in the days of Sinatra, Hayworth, Grace Kelly and Louis Armstrong with his horn. There are other bigger and newer hotels... More

I stayed here last week with my mum for 4 nights. The location of the hotel is great- within walking distance of the Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps and there is also a lovely little fountain just down the road from the hotel (Tritone fountain). It was also close to the bus stop for the tour bus we had... More

We have stayed here twice in the last month, just for one night each time. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The first time we had a deluxe room and the second time just a standard room. The deluxe room had a massive bathroom in an older style but I preferred the bathroom of the standard room. Although it... More

We spent a week here. Location is the main attraction. They are renovating the rooms. We were in 436 which was not renovated but quiet. Had a juccuzi which did not work. We asked for a bath mat for safety and were grateful when it arrived. Beds were comfortable air conditioning was controlled during the day but all you have... More

I booked a package trip with Thomson as a surprise trip for my wife's 40th. Thomson recommended this hotel and we were really pleased with it. There is a flight of steps up to the reception, so just be warned if you are elderly and have large suitcases. I'm [relatively] young and fit, so not a problem. In central Rome,... More

Very happy with this hotel in regards to the staff, the location which is in a quiet and upmarket part of town very close to the metro and walking distance to most of the major sites and the breakfast which is a buffet with huge selection of teas/coffees/pastries eggs cheeses meats etc. The only reason I gave a lower rating... Stayed here with family attending a wedding. All popular sites within walking distance and bus stop for tours only 2 min walk away. Had a small (but felt huge) shirt related emergency on the morning of the wedding but thanks to Joseph and the other staff it was resolved quickly. We had a fantastic holiday without complaint and I firmly... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
