Rome was the first stop on my Italian vacation. I stayed at the hotel for two nights in mid-July with my sister. The hotel is very close to Termini rail station. The proximity was desired since we needed to board the train to Florence from Termini. It is easy to take the bus or local train to all the sights... More

This was the first place we stayed on our visit to Italy. We stayed for two nights, central location to get to all the main places of interest, rooms are very typical Italian decor, staff are very helpful & were great at explaining how to get to places . The hotel also has a rooftop bar area which was nice to relax after... More

I loved the decor. Was a little dated and could do with tweaking in areas but didn't at all effect the grandness of the hotel. Beautiful ceiling paintings in the lobby. Good location. Nice breakfast. Pretty room. Bit confusing to get around as the level I was on required you to get a lift to another floor and then another... More

Frankly i was expecting more by reserving a four star hotel. Location is very nice. But the room we stayed was little, dark, and cold. There are two hotels sharing the same enterance. So if you have a room in turner's side you need to walk quite long way. Breakfast was enough and the staff was helpful and friendly. Try... More

We booked a double and a single room. When we got there the receptionist was confused and said we could have 2 doubles. However the second room was a single with limited views and very dark. The double was ok. We were in the old part and the previous reviewer who wrote about 'the Shining' lift was spot on. The... More

A fair and avarage old hotel with an ok standard, but a little disappointed with the breakfast. Beware, that it is located 100 m from the city wall, which makes the cab drivers want to charge you more from the airport. Tell them you will go for the UK embasy which is just inside the city wall and therefore much... More

Just got back from a week long stay at the Turner hotel in Rome with my girlfriend. We picked the hotel as a recommendation from Thomas Cook. The location is probably the biggest selling point for the hotel. The closest metro stop to the hotel is Castro pretorio, from there you can go to Termini and from there you can... More

Just back from room absolutely beautiful city, hotel Turner was average, when we first arrived we were shown to are room, it was very small and had a view of a very run down yard, they let us change and we got a bigger room for 25 euro a night extra, breakfast was really poor, we had one the first... Stayed for 2 nights as part of a wowcher deal consisting of 2 nights in Rome, 2 nights in Venice (both b&b), return flights and the train between the two cities all for €250 each. Good deal! The hotel turner was a good base for our romantic Rome trip. Our room was clean and spacious enough for what we needed.... More
