This hotel was beautiful, clean and quiet comfort. The room was nicely decorated with nice amenities. The front desk was very helpful in storing our luggage and security safe box for our valuables. This allowed us to register in the morning after a long flight and go ou to enjoy a day in Rome. The restaurant was just what we...

Good hotel located in a quiet neighbourhood. 10 min walk to metro, 20 mins+ to the majority of sights, but nice to be able to go back to somewhere away from the tourist spots at the end of the day. A good selection of local restaurants close to the hotel. Hotel rooms modern, comfortable and with just enough space for...

Wonderful hotel with great location and within walking distance from many famous attractions. The hotel’s rooms are with a good size and is well furnished and beautifully decorated, with feeling of the touch of luxurious. I guess the rooms have just gone over a recent renovation. The bathroom was outstanding and very large with brand name amenities and supplies. Reception...

Stayed here while we explored Rome for two days as part of our 2 week tour of Italy. The location was great. Easy to get to from Roma Terminal, and lots of local places to eat. The location is close to Vatican City but other attractions such as the Colosseum and Roman Forum are far walks. Walking is possible if...

Not sure what all the negative reviews were about, found the hotel and the service to be great, am SPG Platinum & can say that service here was as good or better than most of my stays. Interior had been newly renovated, exterior could use some freshening up, location is great, walking distance to Vatican, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza...

Le Meridien Visconti was know as Visconti Palace. It is located in a quite neighbourhood but there are many local restaurants and pizza shops within walking distance of the hotel. There is even a Chinese restaurant nearby although we did not try it. The rooms at the hotel are not large but well appointed. The buffet breakfast has a large...

I stayed here after staying in Le Meridien Vienna. The difference is marked. Good points: (1) Good location walking distance to the Vatican and main sights and shopping in Rome, around 15-20 minutes walk away. (2) Not expensive given location although subway station is 10 minutes walk away. (3) Comfortable room. Gaps for improvement: (1) Staff polite but not warm;...

This used to be the Visconti Rome hotel. Le Meridien did a full renovation of the property and they did a good job. The rooms are nothing special, but a good value for the money. Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
