We stayed for one night at the end of October and wish we hadn’t.Room was very old fashioned and being located on the street front it sounded as if the buses and trucks were in the bedroom.Impossible to sleep!Breakfast buffet was average at best and we had to encounter a cockroach .
We travelled to Rome for m wife's 50th Birthday and stayed at this hotel. Located centrally in the Centro Historico (Historic Centre) it is ideal for walking to most of the famous attractions. If you are not the walking kind, the many bus services pass near this hotel. Inside the hotel is a large, well lit lobby made to feel more spacious by the huge mirror on the wall of the steps leading into the reception. On arrival we were greeted by Daniel who was warm and friendly and spoke perfect English. Checking in was a breeze and soon we were off to explore the Torre Argentina ruins just 50 meters around the corner. Breakfast was a continental choice obviously, but the service was good and the breakfast area comfortable. Throughout our stay we found the staff helpful and courteous. Lily and Daniel were integral in our stay being so enjoyable. Due to a booking issue through a third party website we had to settle for a standard room and not the deluxe room requested but the room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is not fussy about the all-frills stay but prefers a good location base to explore.…
I actually lived in this hotel in the Fall of 2005 while studying abroad. I fell in love with everything about it. The people who worked there became like family. The location couldn’t be better or more central to every beautiful landmark. The Molanari Family owned it then, but I believe it is under new ownership now. In July of 2016 my husband and I went back and I was overjoyed to find it just as charming as ever. He could finally understand why this Hotel became a second, treasured home to me. We hold our memories of Rome and the Hotel Tiziano so dear to our hearts. I wish everyone visiting Rome could stay at the Hotel Tiziano! You won’t regret it!
Location could not be better in Rome, a few steps from Pantheon, Piazza Navona and Campo di Fiori. Tram to Trastevere near and bus stops to Termini and Vatican In front of the hotel. Nice, basic, very clean rooms, kind of an old world atmosphere, nothing luxurious, but well functioning, friendly hotel with good value for the money. Good breakfast.
Stayed there for the weekend. The only positive thing is its location, the rest is absolutely not worth the 4 stars. Rooms are very old, furniture dates back 20 years, air conditioning very noisy, TV set fixed during the stay, bathroom a sort of tiny corridor with wc seat broken. Breakfast rich in variety but with very poor ingredients. Personnel very kind but not at such a professional level you would expect.
