Last weekend My family and I went to stay al La Residenza. I't is in the best neigborhood of Roma (in my opinion); close to Via Veneto and Villa Borghese. Also you can go walking to see fontana di Trevi, Piazza d'Espagne; Piazza Navona, Pantheon and Colosseo. We had a warm wellcome when arrive in; as well Reception Chief gave... More

Stayed here for two nights, venue is like stepping back into a era long gone...great location for all the major sites... plentiful breakfast. friendly helpful staff. Would stay again ..my only suggestion is ask for a room in the rear, we had the window open and the street noise early in the morning woke us, we were on the first... More

My family, son, daughter in law and three children, plus another grandchild visited Rome for a half term break. This central hotel provided a well run experience. Rooms and bathrooms were comfortable. The staff were friendly and professional. A large healthy buffet breakfast meant we were well fed for the days sightseeing. We were easily able to walk and take... More

The hotel is somewhat dated but is spotlessly clean. Our room was huge and had the biggest double bed I have ever slept in! It was great. The bathroom was dated and deserves a refit, however again spotless, so don't let this put you off. Buffet Breakfast was plentiful, tasty and well presented. Staff on the front desk were extremely... We stayed here for 2 nights and were very happy with the accommodations. The room was spotless and the newly renovated bathroom was beautiful. When we arrived our rooms were not ready and they served us coffee while we waited. They were very efficient and professional at check in. Some people have complained about the noise on the street but... More

This is a boutique type hotel. It is very clean with newly renovated bathrooms. The breakfast is very good. It is a perfect place to stay to get picked up for your tours. There are restaurants in the area that you can walk to. It is a short cab ride to many of the attractions. The front desk was extremely... More

I booked this hotel at the start of the year and had constantly checked reviews, some of which are mixed. Upon arrival we were really pleased. Our bags were taken straight to the room and we were checked in swiftly and efficiently. It was great because the man behind reception gave us a map, explained the best way of getting... More

After visiting this hotel I was surprised of its rating on booking.com which I counted on to choose it! Old Hotel with poor location we walked 2 kms to find a mini market to buy water. The hotel don't have access for baby stroller neither for handicapped people, old bathroom with decomposed walls and ceilings and they took extra charge... More

We visited Rome with our 2 teenage sons for a 3 day stay in the city. The overall service from the hotel was good, although I wouldn't call it friendly at the front desk; more polite and efficient. We booked deluxe and superior rooms which were nicely decorated & spacious, the bathrooms were excellent with large showers in both rooms... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
